I always lower my expectations when trying new hotels so I am not surprised at arrival / check-in. However, I was in for an nice surprise. The shaded parking outside the entrance was a nice welcome. The quick, friendly and efficient receptionist was excellent in welcoming us to the property and we were up to the room in no time. The room was big and clean. The bathroom was also nice and big with a huge resort style shower area. My note for a non-smoking room was well attended to. Looking out the window was the huge swimming pool and kiddie pool. That alone made us plan a future visit with the kids!

Should have booked a longer holiday here! Too quiet for my liking :)

I had a wonderful stay at the Mercure Sohar Hotel in Oman! The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-equipped with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The hotel is in a convenient location, close to major attractions and shopping areas, yet quiet and peaceful. The breakfast buffet was delicious, offering a wide variety of options to suit different tastes. Overall, great value for money, and I would highly recommend Mercure Sohar to anyone visiting the area!

Easy to access modern hotel. My room was superb, suite like and lost of space to work, meet and relax. Beds are comfortable. Breakfast is very good with more than sufficient choice for healthy, low calories or full (English) breakfast. Nice pool and a terrace with sufficient privacy. The hotel offers free parking space, which is ideal for the business guests visiting Sohar.

The Hotel room is clean and very pleasant and peaceful to stay. The breakfast is very good. Has a wide variety. All the staffs are very helpful. Thanks to Mr. Mansour the receptionist who welcomed us and also guided us to move around. We recommend this Hotel, if you want to relax as its very peaceful.

We do not have anything to dislike but a request there should be at least two chairs for the dinning table if possible, as there was only one.

It's a well facilitated property for a three star hotel. Welcoming, helpful staff, clean rooms and decent breakfast. We stayed in this hotel for a night. Location is extremely convenient that we could reach some iconic places of the city in minutes.

I called the housekeeping around 11.50pm and asked for water bottles and she said she would send but I didn't receive it. I had to call the following morning again to get the bottles. Other than that we had absolutely no issue.

I stayed at this hotel for one night, and it was a wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly welcoming, and I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a spacious suite. The room was cozy, clean, and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. Highly recommend this hotel for its great service and comfort!

The hotel is modern with good facilities and amenities. The breakfast buffet has good options, but I found it to be a little expensive for the price. The pool is great, but the number of sunbeds is less.

The gym is quite small with limited equipment. The Internet is slow at times. The room service options are very less and overpriced.

Mr. Gautam who assisted us at the meeting hall is beyond exceptional. He is very efficient and dedicated to his tasks. He attended to the embassy’s needs and requests and executed it appropriately. Chef Chris is also a very good chef! The front desk staff are all very attentive and accommodating.

The facility was nice , clean, decorated well , easy to access

The water in the shower keeps dropping on the bath floor and it fluid the bath with water. So you have to be very very careful while taking a shower. The property shall re arrange sliding door for the shower.
