It is comfortable and unpretentious, quiet, conveniently located in a pretty setting next to the river. Secure parking also appreciated. The staff are wonderful, especially Nabila and Marine ( not sure of spelling!). Warm, welcoming and so helpful.

There was nothing to dislike specifically but some things could be improved. For example, it would have been nice to have a comfortable chair in the room to relax in when the weather is not conducive to outdoor lounging. The restaurant could be more consistent. On the occasion we dined there, the starters were delicious but the roast beef main course was so tough that it was actually inedible.

The location is excellent, sitting by a very pretty river and just back from the road in a quiet part of a pleasant small town. The staff are extremely friendly and courteous and make you feel very welcome. The restaurant is very good with a well chosen menu and a good wine list. The rooms are clean and comfortable and if you are looking for the ideal overnight stay, this is it.

Not much; the breakfast was pleasant although a little sparse and mugs in the room and milk for the morning tea instead of just a small coffee cup would be nice.

Petit-déjeuner - (simple and straight forward,as usual) - location is good next to the river, the hotel is almost at the end of the high street , lots of small shops, and things to see and enjoy - Good easy (free) parking too.

Other (younger) guests are either deaf or have not been taught to take into consideration that might be other people trying to sleep around them when moving around a small older hotel, (ok, I admit I am from a "different "generation).

The friendly welcome for us and our dog. The lovely room next to the river. We have stayed a few times and always look forward to returning.

We have previously enjoyed dining in the excellent restaurant. Everyone is friendly and helpful. But this time we felt the menu was very limited. My husband said that his steak was excellent but didn't enjoy the other courses. I can’t say I really enjoyed my meal. The best part was the muse bouche. Never seen the restaurant as empty. It was very expensive.

The location next to the river and near to the bars and shops. The rooms were nice. The food was lovely and the staff very kind and helpful.

The lights did not work in our room only two very small ones and when we mentioned it they said oh we have that problem alot. Air conditioning was problematic. Carpet outside on the corridor must have had bleach on it so looked very dirty.

The restaurant was WONDERFUL! The food and the service were just perfect! They even made a brownie cake (per my bestie's request) for my birthday! The grounds are gorgeous and the rooms are lovely! We had a glorious time!

Overall, the room was very clean but the bathroom could have been a bit cleaner. It wasn't dirty. There just wasn't quite enough attention to detail ( there was some hair on the floor) but it didn't look or feel unsanitary. It looked like someone just missed a spot.

The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful, changing our room to a quieter room, accepting us booking a table at the restaurant, cancelling it, and then eating there spontaneously. The location was very pretty and relaxing. We could use the car park. The bed was comfortable and the shower excellent.

Breakfast was ok. Quite expensive. The staff could be more confident in their presentation of the hotel. They have a good hotel here and we enjoyed our stay.

We have stayed at this hotel multiple time. Location is great by river, nice for an outside drink or meal on terrace or garden. Excellent restaurant Nice to have some outside space with a standard room downstairs. We had the accessible room 3, facilities good although maybe tight for space with a large wheelchair

This is a great hotel with very pleasant and professional staff. The room was of a substantial size and very clean as was the shower room. The free Wi-Fi was very good. The restaurant was exceptional with a menu of a very high quality and in addition the there was a substantial breakfast available. Would recommend this hotel

The room was very clean, all renovated, contemporary design, very nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Helped us with the luggage since there was no elevator. The location was great. You are in the middle of the town but by the river and surrounded by trees so you don't feel like bing in town. You can walk to town and restaurants in less than one minute.

The breakfast was ok but could have more choices like eggs, etc... The room lacked some hooks for towels and especially for the nice robes they gave us. The garden was very bare. No swimming pool, no flowers. The few long chairs and chairs were dispersed. They looked more like they were abandoned rather that in a nice setting.
