We travelled with two Adults so the Gunya 1 was very spacious for us. We loved the space, the exceptional and unusual architecture, the owners were so friendly. It was a bugger that we only stayed for two nights. Mallacoota itsself is lovely, the people stick together and everyone has their story to tell which was pretty interesting for us.

Cloth pegs would have been nice :D I cant really say that I missed anything.

The staff were lovely and friendly and went above and beyond for us. The property has good facilities. The road out to Mallacoota is a bit windy and narrow at times make sure you miss those pot holes but it’s definitely well worth the trip.

The road out to the caravan park and the single bed was so hard

Such a quiet, tranquil caravan park surrounded by lush bush land and only a short walk into town. Staff were so kind and accommodating and cabins were clean and had all the basics we required.

The double bed in our studio cabin was a bit uncomfortable and tiny to share after a full week but that’s it. Everything else was fantastic!

Although a little small, the bed was comfortable. I am 6 foot so this may not apply to many people.

Internal sliding doors did not slide well. Easy fix, not done.

Other visitors were friendly and respectful of each others privacy. Bathroom amenities were super clean and practical and located close by. The wild life and surrounding flora is lovely. Super quiet at night which was important for me.

I would have preferred more snack/food options at the reception because shops are a car drive away. There are a few pot holes in the entry driveway that could be filled in as we do t all drive large four wheel drives.

If there's one thing I regret, it's not staying longer at Mallacoota's Shady Gully! The accommodation was very pleasant, clean and the host very welcoming. The area around Mallacoota is also very beautiful, with lovely beaches and forest walks. I'd definitely recommend it!

Our cabin was very well equipped, very clean, comfortable and roomy with a good sized kitchen. A lovely 1km walk into town for shops and beach. A great location and the best cabin we have had during our trip to Victoria. Thankyou for lovely accommodation and your thoughtfulness.

It was all perfect.

This is a large open caravan park with lovely bush surrounding it. It is about 1km from centre of Mallacoota. Our “cabin” is an attractive design with a short ramp leading to a large patio. An impressive decor of marine ply and curved shapes , large windows. A good kitchen with full sized stove and full sized fridge. A dining table and two sofas in the living area with a/c . Bedroom was comfortable with small wardrobe and shelves, lamps ( not reading lamps) and bright doona . Blanket available and electric blankets on the bed . A second bedroom has 2 singles and one double bunk . Bathroom spacious with good hot water but shower over the bath. A Lovely place to stay.

These are not really problems just small issues: Shower over the bath ( we are elderly) which i somehow missed when checking facilities on booking. But it was manageable. The curve of the extractor fan over the stove meant we bumped our heads as we used the power points. Just need to be mindful- which you are after the first bump !

Everything was just perfect, due to us arriving after 830pm , our delux cabin was left open and a map was send to us to follow of the park location.. could not ask for friendlier service .. Rooms were spacious and beds very comfortable. We enjoyed breakfast out on the lovely varanda

Too short a stay

Great accom, spacious cabins & super clean. Easy to find & very helpful staff ! Best takeaway food ever @ Lee’s Pizza & Take Away, we’d ordered pizza, chilli fish & fried rice.. seriously Y.U.M!!!

We only stayed the one nite… i will be returning w family.
