Amazing family-owned, family-friendly beach resort just on the Sam Roi Yot beach and National Park. Rooms are basic but clean and well organized for a stay with kids, and a lot of them are interconnected; the restaurant is good and has a large variety of options - both thai and western food; the beach is huge and very quiet, with just the right level of waves to have fun without being dangerous... and the resort has a little shop that has everything you need. Definitely the best part is the amount of kid-frinedly facilities, from pool with slide to kids park to kids room with toys and movies, badminton, ping-pong and babyfoot, everything organized in a way that you can watch your kids play while chilling on your room's balcony. Also worth noting that the hotel offers bikes rental and tours to the local attraction of the nearby water marsh for bird watching and the amazing Praya Nakhon cave, both of them must-see while there. Kudos to Agathe and her team to offer such a special place for family holidays.

It’s a nice small resort for young kids. Ours loved the pool and the park and the proximity to the beach was great.

I was disappointed there wasn’t a kids club. My kids love these. The beach was great but my 2.5 year old nearly ran into the main road as there is very limited child safe security to stop them from doing this. There are limited places nearby to walk to like beach shals for a drink or food. Would have been nice for variety.

Great hotel, right on a lovely quiet beach. Perfect location for exploring the national park. The food was spot on.. the cocktails were just epic! Staff were super friendly and happy to help with anything you needed. They had scooter hire and bike hire and were happy to sort transport to our next hotel at the end of our stay… I’d stay again!

The bed was FIRM! it was boarding on uncomfortable, I know this is personal preference but just bear it in mind if you can’t deal with a firm bed. I think what ever water saving methods they use really impacted the water pressure, so much so that our water went off 3 times over our 4 day stay, once while I was in the shower it just stopped working completely. There were no phones in the rooms, so any problems you have to make your way down to reception to inform them… not ideal when you’re covered in shower gel and the water stops working!

The place is very clean, facilities are maybe basic - but new and all is working. It is safe and convenient for kids to run around and be engaged with variety of kids activities. The layout of the resort is really convenient to rest and to keep an eye on your kids. It's a combination of a great pool and the sea across the road. Breakfast is simple, but enough of what is needed for a healthy breakfast, so it is very good, and what is different from other places - they have a very tasty European bread. Prices for drinks and meals at the 'all day open' restaurant are not high, but reasonable. The hamburgers that they do - I loved the most. Variety of yummy European and Thai dishes. The stuff is very helpful, attentive, pro-active and smily. And there are plenty of places to visit around in that area during the day and be back to the cosy spot in Dolphin Bay.

This hotel is the perfect getaway for families. The pool has a slide and a play area at the back, and the road to the front is quiet. The beach is excellent for swimming, collecting shells, or building sandcastles. The staff are welcoming and friendly, and the whole place has a family feel. It's in a quiet area with not too much to do, so a perfect location if you are looking to relax for a few days. It's not the fanciest hotel on the beach, but it has a lovely rustic feel and is very clean.

Very cozy and well-maintaned hotel just across the road from the sea. Staff is helpful and the service is great. The hotel offers breakfast for 250 THB, a pool, motorbike/bicycle rent, massage, etc. The rooms mostly have garden view, are rather spacious, clean and have everything for comfortable living: shower, hot water (need to wait until the boiler heats it), small fridge, safe, teapot, aircon. The hotel also offers laundry for extra price

Some facilities are overpriced, like massage - 600-800 THB. Also in every hotel before where I visited there was a small birthday gift just to congratulate on the occasion. Here they didn't even pay attention 😞

The lovely staff.The location across from the beach and good value for money. Very quiet area until the resort was filled by a large group of American families then it became noisy

They should warn visitor that they book large groups of Americans that are attending a conference in Bangkok. The resort went from being lovely to an American resort overnight lots of children screaming and out of control !!

Lovely setting. Peaceful non-touristy area. Staff very kind and helpful. Great breakfast. Private pool was lovely. Staff always busy looking out for you and maintaining the site.

A lot of noise from neighbouring rooms at times. Most of the trip the rooms near us were vacant but on the last night there was a lot of banging from neighbouring rooms that could be heard easily in our room.
