Thank you for a great stay! We really enjoyed it. They were very thorough from the moment they received the booking to confirm that they have me penciled in, and then all the way through till we checked out. The aircon in the room was a bonus on a hot weekend, loved that!

The breakfast felt like an afterthought. I think we were the only couple along with one other gentleman for breakfast but the atmosphere wasn't great. For R130 for a buffet and then your choice of omelet or english breakfast, it sounded like great value for money but when the food came I would've classified it with an on-the-go from a local breakie joint. There wasn't any coffee, they didn't start up the machine for only us 3 which was a pity. The only thing I was disappointed on.

The Kliphuis is a beautiful house probability build more than a 100 years ago. More modern spacious rooms were added to increase the number of guests staying at the property. Beautiful serene garden with parking on the property. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They do have solar panels to provide lighting during load shedding which is a boon. The linen on the bed is also of a good quality, white and crisp.

My gripe that I have has nothing to do with the establishment. The roads in Standerton is a nightmare to behold. Rather book supper at the establishment. Driving in Standerton at night is bad.

Spacious. Very nice shower. Really thoughtful shower. Enough plugs and mirrors. Really comfortable.

Light shining in from outside through the curtains. Terrible annoying noise from fridge. Only detected it later and switch it off. Just small issues of light sleeper.

The warm welcome by staff at the Guesthouse. The supply of coffee!tea in the room. The colour hamony of furniture in the room.

lack of covered parking. More information should be provided regarding the different types of rooms available at the Guesthouse, e.g. budget standard etc..

The room was spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The room also had solar, so it was great during load shedding. The breakfast was very tasty and the chef was prompt. The front of house staff was very friendly and all the other staff that I saw on the premises.

Comfortable accommodation, in an excellent location. The gardens at the property were beautiful and the staff very friendly.

We struggled a bit to communicate about changes to our booking - but it was resolved when we arrived in person.

Very friendly staff. Super atmosphere. Can highly recommend it.

A pool would be nice :-)
