This charming place that Emanuelle has created with so much love and phantasy is really special and you always find something new to discover. Rooms and bathrooms left nothing to wish for and the garden is a little paradise . The breakfast we got every morning was fabulous and our hostess was very accommodating in making us feel well taken care of. Just be aware that there are cats around in case you have an allergy and rather steep stairs to the rooms…

Quiet location in a typical Bretonian house. Although there was a little walk until reaching the city centre, there were several restaurants and a supermarket close by. The room was very comfortable and our host was tremendously charming and helpful! She served breakfast with a variety of cereals, homemade jam, fresh bread in different styles from the bakery in a lovely setting. Quimper was our home-base for exploring Bretagne and staying at La Bannelou was definitely the perfect choice!

Emmanuelle is ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!! She’s a lovely artist, caring, helpful and her home reflects her beauty. We throughly enjoyed the comfort and absolutely amazing food. Thank You for making our trip so special ~ THE HIGHLIGHT! ☀️♥️

Le Banellou is a gem, & Emmanuelle a superb host whose kindness & friendliness are quite exceptional! The place is quiet, clean & delightful, & breakfast was a feast: she even took the trouble to cater for my dietary needs. The area around (Locmaria) is very pleasant, & it is no more than 15 mins walk along the river to the historic centre of Quimper with its cathedral & old timbered houses.

The house and garden were so lovely and immaculate . Emmanuela was an outstanding host catering to all our needs - just extraordinary. There are only 2 rooms- we had the room with the claw foot tub- very large room and bathroom. Breakfast was amazing- homemade jams, yogurt, fresh bread and rolls Lovely d the cats

The room was large but cozy, the bed very comfortable and everything spotlessly clean. The breakfast was the best we'd had on our tour. Boiled eggs, home made bread and jam, cheese and jam. Oh and home made yoghurt and nuts. All excellent and very tasty.

Everything was great except there was no sign outside so it was tricky to identify the house. Luckily the owner spotted us searching and came to rescue us.

The location was perfect for us. Very quiet, but within walking distance of downtown Quimper. Breakfast was great, had a bit of everything. The owner was super nice and helpful. We stayed for three days, and it was a good base to explore southern/western Brittany.

Excellent breakfast! Availability of a lovely garden. Fridge to keep our stuff. Very quiet ! Emmanuelle the owner is so attentive but very discreet.

the apartment is quite comfortable, quaint and charming like an old country house and Emmanuel is wonderful and prepared us a sumptuous breakfast before we left on our next itinerary

the bedroom is on the 3rd floor and lugging our suitcase on the stairs was quite a challenge.

We loved everything. The house, the garden, the decor and style in our room, the delicious breakfast, and the sweet hostess.
