Located between Wuerzburg, Bamberg, Bayreuth and Nuernberg, one was spoilt for choice as to which to visit first. The property is in a pastoral setting, so the chatter of the birds is the usual sound heard. Close to Geiselwind just off the A3, with its wealth of restaurants, it is an exceptional place to stay if one is a dedicated tourist. Several destinations nearby would appeal to families whose children need entertainment. Excellent bitcher and baker in Geiselwind for self-catering. For hikers and wanderers, the Steigerwald is on your doorstep. Free parking, and good wifi.

Well furnished, clean and in quite location with lovely balcony area. In general good value for the money and I would recommend to book….it was great for one night stay.

Private bathroom in the room was a bit strange, behind the sliding frosted glass door. The doors didn’t close properly and wall wasn’t done all the way up to the ceiling so little bit awkward when you need to go for no.2 😏 We were also a bit surprised, no bottle of water or jug in the room, no glass or cup or simple plate if you didn’t have a chance to pre-book a breakfast 24hr before your stay.

Great location. Room was clean. It was convinient to get into the property and room with the code as we arrived late. I also liked the nice little balcony. Breakfast was quite basic, but good. Nice restaurant in the ground floor, the food was really good.

Very uncomfortable beds. Shower and toilet are only divided from the room with glass, hence no privacy. Insuficient toiletries for the 3days stay. Rooms not very well sound isolated, you can hear your next door neighbours.

The room was clean and spacious ,nicely decorated and furnished . And was a great location

The fact that I wanted to book another night .The manager told me the hotel was full then told me I could have the room for another night but not going through booking.com and to pay him directly .He then asked for 120 euros when I had only paid £35 for the night Via booking.com😱. He was clearly trying to pocket the money for him self

It was nice one-night stay, the rooms were quite good and clean. The pillows are huge but thin and you have to fold them to make them useful ;) The location is also OK, very close to the highway.

In one room at the second floor the sink was very tiny and you couldn't wash your hands without making the floor wet. Other than that, it was quite OK.

Room was delightful. Clean, spacious, comfy beds The room even has a coffee machine and coffee pods are provided. There's a private bathroom, which is pretty cool. Tv in room Towels provided and there was a balcony with the room No staff there as it is self sign in, we were due to arrive pretty late so messaged hotel owner via booking.com and there was a quick reply with clear instructions Great for those who are with car as location is remote. Free parking right outside hotel, in front of Lake.

Shower head needs changing, that's all.

Lovely quiet area. Clean rooms and easy to access.

Unfortunately stayed on the only day the restaurant is closed. We were not made aware of this when booking. Very little in the way of restaurants nearby without having to drive into the next town. No kettle in the room so we couldn't even make ourselves a drink when we arrived.

Modern, recently done and bright interior design, top cleanness; there's a large outside terrace, place is a natural reserve.

There is a tight space between the WC and a wall; the bathroom & WC are shared spaces with the main room, which has no extracting ventilation (there is a large door to the terrace, though).

We arrived really late due to some problem with the car, but they welcomed us nevertheless (the room was opened via a pincode, so this was not really an issue). The location is nice, close to a small lake, and some small towns. Quite peaceful.

Close to the motorway, in a quiet ares, modern bathroom, nice little Italian restaurant at the location, good food, nice personell. Interesting sistem to let yourself in, very practical.

not a room for 2 people. Being an open bathroom, you don't have any privacy.
