Recently renovated rooms. Large bathrooms. We arrived in time for dinner at the dining room, which was great. The Bar staff (who also acted as Reception staff after business hours) were a little overworked, but they made sure we knew when they could check us in, after our meal (which was LARGE), so this was appreciated.

Although the rooms have been renovated, the hallways now need a fresh coat of paint to compliment the rooms. Secured off-street parking is not directly available at this site, but main street (which was well lit and ample) was, so it wasn't a significant problem.

The rooms were very clean and modern. They are really big rooms with a large balcony. The big bathroom was so very clean, even with a separate bath. So comfortable with the shopping centre across the road. Beautiful meals downstairs in the pub. You can't hear any of the noise from downstairs or out in the street. Lovely cool air conditioning. So close to everything.

The one only thing that we did not like was a very leaky shower head in the shower. Had a shower before even closing the door on the shower. It needs replacing. Lol🤣

Location was great! Main street of town so super close to everything.

There is no dedicated parking so you have to park on the street. Depending on the day, there are parking restrictions and I had to keep looking at the clock to remember to move my car to avoid getting a parking ticket. I also had to drag my luggage down the street and do multiple trips when checking in as I couldn't get a park very close to the entrance.

I was very impressed with how big the room was! The balcony was great - to sit out there with my family, who also stayed at the motel and just chat, was wonderful. I really liked the Staff as we had dinner there - Ange checked us in and was there when we played the pokies after. She was just a lovely person

clean and spacious room with nice large balcony. Two large beds, tea and coffee and a fridge in the room to keep beer cold. Nice large TV that we could watch from the Bed. Shampoo and Conditioner and body lotion was very nice

Check in experience was a little all ove the place. Only one staff member serving the bar and signing customers in and the internet went down so the lovely girl was a little stressed

The food servings were large, well cooked, tasty very reasonably priced. We had a room on the main street but with the glass door closed was quiet as. The renovations have really upgraded the rooms.

Signage to get into the place could be better. The reception desk was closed and we didn't know which doors to go through to find where to sign in.

In the middle of town, very handy.

Firstly, when we went in to our room, which we had booked the day before. It looked as though the cleaning lady had a rest on the bed, hence photo all wrinkled bed sheet, pillow. Also the shower, there was an opened shampoo which there was 1 missing on our face washer to welcome us. then there was 2 smoke detectors on the bench in kitchen. which they should have been put on the ceiling I think? Definitely wasn’t cleaned properly. Actually we had to wait nearly 1/2 hour to get into our room. we booked in after we had lunch in the pub. We didn’t see anyone in reception, so again Rene, had to book us in. Not really good enough!

Staff were friendly, bed was comfortable.

Check in was very disappointing as a specific early check in was arranged 2 months out as we had a wedding to rush to. Room key was handed to us, but when we entered the room it wasn't done. We then had to wait and this made the whole process of getting organised to get to the bus quite stressful. They did leave the room whilst we used the bathroom and changed, then came back after we'd left to clean.

The big room had a great ensuite and hotel is clean. Upstairs in accommodation is great

2 staff members were off and made things difficult but the staff member did well. On street parking only. Unfortunately I had to walk down other end of town to another pub to get a feed. Beer cold be colder at the pub downstairs. Bit expensive but this is pushed up by the websites forcing us to go on ship cruises or overseas instead of our backyard. Very sad. It's not the motel or pub doing this

We liked the huge & very modern room with 2 queen size beds and a large and private balcony with table and chairs. The room was spotless including the ensuite bathroom. While meal service was available, the bistro was more appealing. All this and also in the centre of town.

The only thing missing was on-site parking, so had to park on the street and be wary of the parking restrictions during the day.
