L'Hotel Perla is the most charming hotel we have ever stayed at, and we keep coming back! This is our 3rd stay at this perfectly beautiful hotel. Everything about this hotel is perfect: the rooms, the rooftop garden, pool and bar, and especially, the staff. At L'Hotel Perla we feel at home! Special thanks to Diana, who recommended us the absolutely fantastic restaurant at the hotel, El Desafuero (which is listed as one of the 100 best restaurants of Mexico, and rightfully so!). From our previous stays we knew there is a nice restaurant downstairs, but we had no idea how fantastic it was. The cuisine is out of this world! Diana also helped us in a difficult situation, when we had to leave early due to medical emergency with my Mom back at home. Everything was done with such efficiency and perfection, I have no words to thank Diana enough for all her help!

This boutique hotel is a wow! Stunning room design with smart technology… lights, TV, A/C run by a bedside tablet. We chose our room b/c of its tub and it sure didn’t disappoint. Our room only had one chair, it would have been nice to have two as one of us had to sit on the bed during our down time. Front lobby staff always available for our questions and requests. Shout out to Mar and Martin who definitely enhanced our stay, thank you both for your stellar service! We dined at the lobby restaurant, wonderful service accompanied by delicious creations. Disappointed that their 3 floor pool bar was not open/set up during our stay as it would have been nice watch a sunset with a cocktail in hand. Note that the pool was open and heated. We’ll definitely return when back in Puebla!!

Loved the room. The bathroom has a great stand alone tub that easily fits two for a romantic weekend. Rooms are very modern- and have a very comfy bed and giant TV as well.

The tablet to control the room is complicated- especially if you don't speak Spanish. It also wasn't working for the A/C and the front desk came to help. Also just a note that we went on a Saturday night- and it was really loud with the bars in the neighborhood until 12.30am. Finally, it is a shame that the restaurant is owned separately and room service/ breakfast is not available.

Great location in a nice , vibrant area within walking distance of all the sights and great restaurants. Dianna was very helpful with all of our questions, and gave excellent recommendations for restaurants and excursions . All Of the staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant has a very nice ambience and great food . We loved our room with a balcony overlooking Calle de los Sapos. The rooftop pool area is very nice, and the views are incredible .

We wished the poolside bar had been open, but I believe we were there at an off-season time.

The well situated hotel is ultra modern with elegant design. Although alongside the popular square, Los Sapos, the rooms are completely soundproof. There is an excellent restaurant onsite, Segundo Aire, and Chef Martin creates delicious food and service is outstanding. The beef fillet in red wine sauce with Gorgonzola is delicious but my favorite is the pasta in lemon sauce, a dish that sounds so simple but is a culinary delight when done to perfection as it is here. We also appreciated Dianna at the front desk who remembered us from our previous visit and is so helpful. Thankfully she speaks English very well as my Spanish is very basic. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

Nothing really

The room was large, comfortable, with everything we needed, including dressing gowns, toiletries, etc. It had thoughtful details, such as blackout curtains, and in general the bed was comfortable and the shower very good. It was very clean, the decoration was tasteful and there is a very good Spanish restaurant downstairs. Personnel were quite friendly.

However, our room was extremely noisy because it is on a busy street, and the bar just in front had very loud music and karaoke until 2 am... and then the people on the antiques market on the other corner of the hotel began setting their stalls at 6 am the following morning. There was in our room a Japanese-style toilet whose functions didn't work, and the air conditioner was noisier than we would have liked. Not really needed, as the night was quite cool, but it is impossible to open the windows because of the noise downstairs. No breakfast is offered, and no parking either.

We had an absolutely incredible experience at Perla Boutique Hotel in Puebla. The facilities and design of the hotel are stunning, and the staff is nothing short of amazing: kind, attentive, and always ready to help. A special thank you to Diana, who went above and beyond to make our stay truly memorable. We encountered a small issue with our initial room, but the team promptly resolved it by upgrading us to a beautiful suite. Their commitment to guest satisfaction truly stands out. The rooftop pool is a highlight. It’s perfect for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. Everything was immaculately clean, and the hotel’s location is excellent, making it easy to explore Puebla. We loved our stay so much that we decided to extend our trip to spend more time here. Thank you to Diana and the team at Perla Boutique for making our visit unforgettable. We can’t wait to return!

Very nice boutique hotel in a great location on the Plaza de los Sapos. The hotel is fairly new. The rooms are high tech but comfortable. The hotel is clean and housekeeping is good. Very nice staff. Great to have a Japanese-style toilet. The rooftop pool was also really good and relaxing.

The rooms are perhaps too technologically complex. The Japanese-style toilet is great—but this also means you can’t throw toilet paper into the toilet, but in a bin next to it. The blackout blind is good, but doesn’t cover all the way to the bottom, so a bit of light does come in (though easy to remedy with some pillows). The room gets a bit too warm, which means you need to run the AC constantly.

Everything. The hotel was designed beautifully and the rooms were operated with a tablet which was really easy to use. Even though we were right downtown and next to a square with lots of restaurants nearby you didn't hear a thing from the soundproofed room. The bed was a king and super comfortable. The staff were amazing! Especially the lady who checked us in and was there every afternoon and evening. I think her name was Diana. She even helped us book a driver and guide for the day. Ariel was also very helpful, he printed up our bus tickets for us! The hotel is spotless throughout. The housekeepers do an amazing job. The bartender at the roof top bar and restaurant was also really nice. The view from there was fantastic. Loved the pool! The doorman, handyman, everyone was great! We didn't want to leave!

Not a big deal but I wished the pool was twice it's size. It was too small for laps and the hours were shorter than what was advertised on booking com. Nevertheless we made the most of it. When the sun hit the water it looked like it had diamonds on the bottom.

The State of the Art amenities were unexpected and a real treat! The sophistication of/in the rooms was very cool, and we enjoyed the decor and the modern look. Of Course the location was OUT OF THIS WORLD.... We were in the middle of this enchanting town that turned into something magic in the square at night!

The only thing we might recommend is to perhaps have some cash at the front desk in order to help guests make smaller change. If you are walking around, some WC's require change for use, and most ATM's spit out large bills, I would assume most guests would find it a nice "perk" if you could provide smaller bills in exchange for larger.
