Great place to relax in the countryside and self-cater, we had our own kitchen but the tariff also included a lovely breakfast prepared by Helen each morning. The room was a very decent size, with high ceilings and a great bathroom. It also has a lovely balcony where we could sit for meals, reading and aperos. Couldn't recommend it more highly.

Nothing really - not a lot of eateries nearby (we knew that ahead of booking), hence the self-catering was totally expected. Carrefour Contact and bucheries 5 to 10 mins drive away.

Our host has been really sweet and patient, allowing us to arrive later than the established check-in time. The room was impeccably clean and comfortable, her care for details is noticeable. The complimentary biscuits in the room were a nice touch. The breakfast was delicious and generous.

Very nice and quiet piece for a one night travel. Wonderful and complete " english" breakfast ( eggs, hams, marmelades and french pastry ) We recommand a stop at "Chez Helen" Pascal & Veronique

Really clean, cosy and well appointed with an excellent breakfast and helpful (but not intrusive) host. It was also important to us that it was dog friendly - there were good walks nearby too!

The breakfast was more than enough and prepared at a time we requested. It was of a high quality and very enjoyable. Our room was lovely and comfortable. Clean and nice and warm. Lot's of extra touches like biscuits, cakes and toiletries. A lovely stay. Helen was warm and friendly and very helpful. Would stay there again without hesitation.

There was nothing not to like.

The whole experience was professional and friendly. The accommodation was 5 star, clean, warm and she could not do enough for us.

it snowed while we were there and stairs felt a little scary. but that’s all. it was just lovely
