Perfect Location - shopping plaza and eateries nearby and also close to GCCC Lovely breakfast with a good selection Rooms clean, quiet and very spacious. Beds are so comfy! Enjoyed using the gym facilities The Free coffee and expresso machine and filtered water/iced tea in Reception was a welcomed bonus All staff really helpful & friendly especially the Breakfast Catering Team and the Reception Team. Special mention to Bridget in Reception who was so kind and extremely helpful during our visit who went out of her way to make me and my daughter feel very welcome. Thank you, Bridget! I was so impressed with hotel & its facilities that I would most definately choose to stay at the Best Western Plus, Emerald Inn & Suites on my next visit to Garden City :)

Good beds, clean, lovely decor with art representative of the location, polite staff, convenient breakfast included. There are nearby points of interest and activities.

Main entrance is hidden, it's behind the building relative to where you drive in. Green lights on exterior walls were our best clue that we found the right building. Inside--ad hoc signs everywhere telling guests don't, no, stop, etc. The signs and makeshift barricades undermined the classy aesthetic and felt low-key hostile. We made a joke out of it and chose to stay again on the way back, because the facility is quite nice and reasonably priced.

Very clean and nice. Breakfast staff was better than most. Front desk was good. It was nice to have the beds made and fresh towels , that doesn't seem to happen much anymore.

I often stay more than one night and it seems that I always have to get the room key fixed to work on the second day. If the reservation is for several nights then make the key good for that long. Making trips back to the desk to get it redone is not fun.

Location and parking on sight near the front doors was a great bonus, the interior of the hotel was beautiful, free hot coffee and espresso machine in the lobby was perfect. But the room far exceeded our expectations... We got a suite and it was huge - three rooms a large walk in shower was the answer for a long day on the road.

Possibly the view in western Kansas could be improved -lol The many grain trucks coming down to the stop light were adamant about using the engine brakes on the big rigs... So the noise pollution was an issue at first on a Friday night

Breakfast was better than usual, pool and hot tub were great and seemed treated with salt as opposed to a lot of chlorine. Hotel was clean and nice. Beds were comfortable and AC worked well.

The smell was terrible outside it must be near a hog farm or something. The indoor cleaner smell also wasn’t great but it faded with running the fan in the room.

The breakfast bar was nice and there was a good variety of food. The shower was very nice with a curved shower curtain rod which always makes the shower seem bigger. The beds were in good condition, though a little firm for me. There was a good variety of pillows.

The 1st floor was a little noisy. There was really only seating for two people in the room.

Liked the extensive breakfast and coffee bar. Comfortable lobby. Comfortable beds. Clean facility.

In room fridge did not keep items very cold. The hot tub had hot water, but the jets were not working. In the pool photos, it shows little fountains over the pool, but those didn't exist. Worked out in the gym with very little A/C in there. There is no remote to turn on the TV in the gym. Elliptical works, but the buttons were nonfunctional.

The rooms were very comfortable and well taken care of. The breakfast had a good variety of options. The staff I encountered was very friendly.

Unfortunately, the hot tub was not working so that was disappointing.

Breakfast was fabulous! This is by far the best free breakfast offered by any hotel that I have stayed in. There were many options (both hot and cold) to choose from and everything was delicious. The staff attending the buffet was very attentive and monitored it closely to refresh the items as needed and to keep the area clean and neat. The layout of the buffet was excellent and allowed for good traffic flow.

The only small criticism I have is that the toilet paper was way too thin, and for the quality of this hotel, should have been better.

Convenient, staff was helpful and friendly, room was clean and comfortable. Didn’t eat breakfast - I fast a lot. After leaving, realized I had left a book my daughter gifted me. Called and explained the situation. By the time I got back it was waiting for me at front desk.That was a big deal for me personally. Managers name was Joven (sp?) - very gracious. I’m sorry if I got this wrong - was in a huge rush.
