We really liked the reception we received. we got early access to our room, which allowed us to go out and enjoy our skiing. We also were able to leave our luggage on the day of departure, which again allowed another day's skiing. The staff were smart and caring and this high standard was continued by all the staff who helped look after us. The room was very nice and comfortable and more than adequate for our needs. Unfortunately it wasn't one of those with a balcony and a view over the valley. We thought all the meals we had were outstanding. It was all superbly cooked with lovely, fresh ingredients all of which was extremely tasty and very good value. My wife is vegetarian and one other main vegetarian dish on the menu would have been welcome.

It's only a tiny thing, but there could have been more attention to the teas and coffees etc in the room. On one day they weren't replaced.

Friendly, helpful staff, beautiful view out of the window. Excellent breakfast and really good evening meals too. There is also a nice terrace to enjoy a drink in the evening sunshine.

Service in the restaurant was very slow, especially on our second evening there but the staff were very apologetic about this.

Friendly check in and the windows had screens. The restaurant was very good.

No air conditioning, which wasn’t really a problem, but the property is right on the main road, and there was traffic noise. Rooms were small, but cozy.

Room was excellent, friendly staff, food great with excellent selection, and reasonably priced. I especially loved the fact as I was staying on my own as I was on business, that they did a fondue for one person, which you never really see anywhere else.

The only thing I could fault, and it is a very minor thing, was the morning breakfast coffee wasn't great.

Very nice, friendly hotel with attentive staff. it's an authentic Alpine hotel in a working area. Breakfast was lovely with an array of tasty jams and good bread. I have to add that I had a phenomenal lunch with a fantastic red wine.

the restaurant for breakfast and dinner was superb .The hotel is set in a beautiful valley and there were beautiful viws from our room. the room itself was large and the bathroom too.very spacious and it had a little balcony.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Of particular note, Robin, in the restaurant, and the young blond woman at reception, were charming, helpful and informative. The food was excellent. The village location was beautiful, just a bit isolated.

No air-con, but that was minor issue.

The welcome was friendly, it was an excellent breakfast, so nice to be able to squeeze one’s own orange juice, there was plenty of fresh fruit, pastries and a variety of breads, jams, meats and cheeses.The room was very comfortable. The balcony was large enough for a table and 2 chairs, as well as a deck chair. And the bonus on the balcony was a clothesline and pegs - great for travellers! We enjoyed being able to have dinners on the terrace of the restaurant and drinks on the bar terrace - or if one was watching the Tour de France the bar was a comfortable place to do so! We felt “at home”

Staff were friendly, the shared areas such as bar, lounge and restaurant and terrace were all very nice. The food was great too. Room was as expected, small but functional for the 1 night. The town is lovely and easy to walk from the hotel.

Very comfortable hotel with relaxing public areas. Good setting, as you come down from the mountains. Situated on the edge of the village, so there was the opportunity to eat in the restaurant or try a local hostelry.
