Breakfast was wonderful. A nice range of fresh foods to choose from. The Boulangerie offerings were delicious and there was also an option for cooked eggs and bacon to order. The bed was extremely comfortable, the room was quiet and the balcony had lovely views.

The room we had was a little smaller than we were expecting, but completely manageable for 2 people. The main issue we had was the lighting in the room. Everything was very dark, even when the curtains were fully open and all the lights were on, we could barely see into the wardrobe area to know what clothes we were picking up (even when using the torches on our phones).

The hotel has all the essentials for a memorable stay in the Serre Chevalier region. All rooms are facing the mountains, including parts of the Ecrins massif. Good breakfast although we would have appreciated more seasonal fruits.The dinner menu had enough options for a short stay. Friendly and attentive staff. We were returning customers and will use the hotel again when visiting the region.

Excellent breakfast buffet. Very welcoming staff. The view from our room was fantastic - see photo - and the beds very comfortable. Fabulous to be able to lie in bed and gaze at the mountains. Room number 35. Possibly the best in the hotel?!

For the price paid, some included spa facilities would have been nice. That said, the Tour de France was coming through so the price was probably inflated. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and the food was good but the atmosphere was a little staid. The cut of steak in the restaurant could have been better.

We really enjoyed the hospitality of this hotel, the staff was amazing, the location was perfect for a getaway and the lobby, rooms were so comfy and nice touch of minimalistic. Great feedback specifically for Justine, Sebastian, Meryl & Anastasia, for going out of their way to make our stay better.

We just wish it was warmer but we were made aware of the fact that the area had problema with the heating, not just the hotel.

Lovely funky hotel right in the heart of the village with spectacular views, good beer selection too!

The room was too hot for sleeping. 28°C on the first night. We tried to adjust to no avail, and were told in the morning that it is central heating, so we couldn't adjust, and suggested we open the window (which we had done). The climate crisis does not need overheated hotels where people have to open the windows to cool down in the middle of winter!! The other two nights it was 23°C which is still pretty warm for sleeping! Also, the lighting was too gloomy. There should be an option for a bright light, especially by the clothing shelves, should people wish to have that.

Breakfast was excellent. We also had dinner in the restaurant and found it to be outstanding with a great variety choices. Nice wine list too, and they also have a proper cocktail bartender. Our dog was warmly welcomed and the staff was especially accommodating with our special requests.

A small mini-bar or fridge in the room would be nice, but it's certainly not a deal breaker since they allowed us to put things from our cooler in their kitchen fridge.

This year we opted for the half board which was actually a very good choice although there was only one fixed menu each night. As returning customers, we booked a room with a large balcony with mountain views.

They now charge 10€ per night for private parking.

Everything this was an extremely special hotel and we will have very fond memories of this place for years to come. The staff were super friendly and nice. The room we had was stunning, and the view was unreal of the mountains. The breakfast was so nice. Overall 10.out of 10.

The only downside was that the room had no fridge.

Beautiful Hotel and Location. The food in the hotel restaurant was exceptional and the staff were cheery and very helpful. The little table and two chairs on the terrace were ideal after a tiring morning walking and climbing, with fantastic views.

We found the room to be misrepresented online and in Booking.com, it was so tight to get to either side of the bed., the room was way too small.

Good breakfast, we had a cozy room and it was cozy. Lovely balcony. We also ate in the restaurant and it was good.

Room was dark it needed an additional light and the room was always hot and we had the heating turned right down
