The Dominique Colonna surprised us with its attention to detail and overall our experience here was excellent. Their front desk service before and during our stay was fantastic. The room outlook over the river is beautiful. Their pool and spa were classy. Perhaps best of all is their breakfast - wow, the level of quality and innovation here is amongst the best we have ever come across in our travels. Next time we come back to Corsica we will make sure to book another stay for sure!

Rooms here don't come cheap, like many of the good quality places in Corsica. It is also a bit further from Corte than we realised, so one evening we walked into town but the next we drove (5 mins vs 30 mins).

We stayed at Dominique 2 times with different groups (3 days each visit) and consequently feel we are qualified make to an objective review of this property. From "check-in" to "check-out" there was not a solitary second of disappointment. The location is sublimely relaxing articulately tucked into a pine forest bordering an enthusiastically cascading river. The building materials chosen have created a feeling of being "one-with-the-planet" ....rich wood, tile, and stone subtly nestle guests into "a Zen state of mind." Breakfasts are a delight with clearly home made quality and presentation. However if this does not evidence enough for a 5 star rating be prepared to "hyperventilate" with their delightfully attentive staff. I did not manage to note everyone's name but know both Presley and Ellianna assisted me several times. Thank you Natalie - you have not missed a single beat!

The hotel blew us away. It was very difficult to know what to expect from the pictures on the website so I was bit worried but my god did it exceed our expectations! Attention to detail is second to none in everything - interior, service, ambience. We are already planning our next holiday in Corte just so we could stay at this hotel longer. It is also located in beautiful Restonica Valley - a heaven for hikers. I cannot wait to rest after the hike at this very special hotel by the river.

It would be great if there was a restaurant that served dinner rather than just lunch.

Fabulous property in an amazing location. We had been travelling for eight days in Corsica and came to walk and explore Corte. The property is directly beside the river, a bit out of town, but a fantastic location to chill and relax. We ended up not leaving the Hotel one day. Staff were great - particularly Prescilla who is amazing. There isn’t a restaurant but there is one next door which was so good we ate there both nights.

The fantastic location, beside a fast-flowing river and a huge mountain. The sound of the river all night was very soothing. The hotel has been very skilfully designed to blend in to the location. It is all about relaxation and peacefulness. The rooms are fitted out to a very high standard.

Information about the hotel and its services is available by QR code only. A paper version, or even a summary version, would be helpful.

Beautiful setting in the valley. Friendly staff, who make excellent cocktails. Very relaxing massages on offer. Stylish interior and very well maintained. Had a superb time.

Pillows were not so comfortable on the bed. Looked like it was getting quite busy as we were about to depart, so there will be a fight for the pool and sun loungers. Air conditioning in the room was not terribly effective.

Excellent restaurant, snacks, lunch, breakfast and cocktails… all excellent! The property is absolutely gorgeous especially with a room on the river. We opened our doors every night to sleep by the natural soundscape!

Outdoor setting is stunning. Blending of decor and pool with natural environment is superb. Rooms/ bed/bathroom are excellent.

Breakfast was very good but could have been better. Given the price, the pastries and quiche could have been better. Need place to put soap/shampoo in shower.

Beautiful setting, thoughtful staff, lovely decor. We had unexpected difficulty finding a taxi to the train station, and finally asked the front desk for help. They ended up driving us there in their personal car, which was above and beyond - and greatly appreciated, thank you!

Amazing location on the Restonica river shore. Comfortable rooms and comfortable beds. Good size room. Italian style bathroom. Private Outdoor patio. Restaurant next door is awesome !
