The location of the hotel is excellent with a public carpark literally across the road from it. Parking is €8/- per 24 hours (from when you enter it). The receptionist - Valeria - was attentive, helpful and quick: really on the ball. Other staff members we encountered were polite and helpful. They seem to be really geared up for dealing with tourists (in fact San Marino generally seems like that) which isn't necessarily always the case in hotels. The room, which had a cute, tiny balcony overlooking the street, was pretty basic with not a lot of space. But ours was a very short stay, so perfectly acceptable. The bathroom, however, was a good size - very clean with plenty of fresh towels and lots of immediate hot water - and a very good hairdryer which saved us as we arrived at the hotel in the pouring rain. Breakfast was included with our room fee. It was really abundant, with plenty of choices - including cooked items such as bacon, scrambled eggs and boiled eggs - but they really excelled in the variety of homemade pastries and crostate. Additionally there were fresh fruits, yoghurt, cereals, cheese, cold cuts, breads for toasting, jams and the most amazing whole honeycomb! There was a nice selection of teas and an endless supply of good coffee from a splendid machine with many options for your morning coffee. The WiFi was powerful. During our stay there was bad weather and our service provider couldn't connect outside, but in the hotel, it absolutely did. Quite apart from the restaurant in the hotel - which was open for breakfast and dinner - there was a decent café/bar a few steps from the entrance and a few gift shops also.

There was a fridge but no kettle or even basic coffee/tea making facilities. However, we asked at Reception and they gave us an electric kettle to use, so no problem. While there were quite a few electric sockets, they were in odd locations, and since there wasn't much in our room in the way of furniture, your phone was left dangling.

The location of the hotel was right in the centre of San Marino, so it was ideal for sightseeing in the town. The room was comfortable and clean. The view from the room was spectacular.

Even thought the view from the room was wonderful, it would have been nice to have some safety features on the window. This may be a worry for somebody with children. The soundproofing in the room wasn't very good. I could hear a lot of what my neighbours were doing. The receptionist asking me for €3.50 Local Tourist Tax as I'm about to check out. Please, please, please will hotels include this as part of the hotel room's price? I'm not going to fail to book a hotel room because of this. As far as I'm concerned this is not an extra such as breakfast or room service.

From the moment I arrived, you went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. I was particularly touched by your kindness in allowing me to check in early, even though the official check-in time was later in the afternoon. It was such a relief to be able to settle into my room after a long journey, and I truly appreciated your flexibility. Similarly, on my departure day, you extended your generosity by allowing me to stay in the waiting area even after the check-out time. It was a rainy day, and your understanding meant I could wait comfortably and dry until my bus to Rimini arrived. This simple gesture made a huge difference and turned a potentially stressful situation into a pleasant one. Your warmth, attentiveness, and willingness to help are truly commendable. Very friendly staff. Location conveniently next to the bus terminal - I can't overstate how helpful this is if you're arriving and leaving by bus as the area is very steep. Staff kindly stored my bag for a few hours prior to check in. Very reasonable price for the budget room I stayed in. Room comfortable enough, especially for the price. 5 minutes walk into the centro storico, 10 minutes up to the towers. San Marino is beautiful and this was a great base to explore from.

Only a couple of very minor things. Can't complain for the price!

The location of Joli is great for walking to see the old town & castle areas of San Marino. At check-in they upgraded our room to have a balcony with a beautiful view! The breakfast had a great variety of both hot & cold foods. The communication before we arrived was very helpful. I asked about parking options and they gave some suggestions, however these were both full when we arrived.

The bed was too firm for our liking. It wouldn’t say it was terrible but not the most comfortable. It would have been nice to have coffee & tea making abilities in the room. Parking was a bit tricky. I didn’t see that I needed to book ahead for parking at the hotel. We spent a while driving around to try to find something.

Superb Location at the bottom of the walk up to the towers at the top of Monte Titano and right beside the old train station square where the Bus from Rimini pulls in. Amazing views from bedroom out over surrounding mountain ranges. Room itself was great. Plenty of room for solo traveller in my twin room, clever recessed clothes storage instead of traditional wardrobe and comfy bed. A/C worked although wasn't needed in late September. Also, very quiet at night despite its centre of the action location. (Old part of San Marino is generally quiet at night). Very good bathroom with walk in shower and all spotlessly clean. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was a help yourself buffet with standard continental style breakfast options.

If I was to be SUPER-picky, and because I come from a cold climate where hot breakfasts are traditional, I would have liked a little more hot food options at the breakfast buffet. But like I said I'm being super-picky.

It was a very good breakfast. The location is near the places you want to see. The staff was very friendly. Although not in Italy, it was the best place we stayed in while on the peninsula.

Be aware that like most places in Europe, this hotel does not provide free parking. But, parking is not as expensive as other places we've been in Europe. The food at the restaurant for dinner was not that great, but it was not expensive and it saved us from having to go out into the cold to find an open restaurant.

The staff were tremendous, very friendly and helpful. Supplied us with maps and discount vouchers. The breakfasts were a delight. Our room sadly didn't have the view that the rooms on the west side of the hotel had, but instead we had a little balcony over looking the main square/road which we really liked. The location is excellent, close to where the bus stops coming into San Marino, but also a short walk into the old town with all its magic. San Marino is wonderful. Stay at least 2 nights.

I loved the location, just next to the shuttle bus stop and 10 minutes walk from the city center, comfy bed, staff is very kind and osteria menu - very delicious!

Unfortunarely, we got a room with a balcony looking eastwards to the street, it had a door in common with the next room so that we cam hear even the slightest sound coming from our neighbors as if they were in our room. Westside looking rooms have fairy view to the moutains and Domagnano valley. I wish we had westward looking room. Maybe next time ;)

Fantastic position just a few minutes walking from the historic centre. The staff was really nice and very helpful with any questions we had. The halls and the rooms were also really pretty. The bed was big and everything in the room worked perfectly. We did not have any meals included, but the restaurant next to the hotel (with which they seem to have a partnership) served amazing food for relatively cheap prices. This hotel is absolutely worth the price!
