They have an amazing kitchen and staff are very cooperative and well behaved. They have a nice cozy terrace and you can catch the morning sunrise on Kanchenjunga. Though the view is very skewed and you just get to see the main kanchenjunga peak and not the entire range, but it kinda works.

The geyser wasn't working and we had to go two floors below to take a bath in a default room. So that was an inconvenience. Apart from that, this property is fine for young people but you should think twice before getting your parents here because 1. They don't have a lift in the old wing (where we stayed and has a view) and it might be difficult for old people to climb so many floors. 2. MG Marg is quite a steep walk from the hotel, again a troublesome affair for old people.

So this property is at a walkable distance from MG Marg. The room was cosy, well insulated, clean and the best part was we got a free upgrade from deluxe to super deluxe room and that too at an unbelievable price. The room was very big and could have accommodated 5 adults easily. Overall experience was wonderful.

Food could be better as the food we ate was not upto the expectation ,food part of food was they serve fast and hot ,they should clear the policy regarding the guest like they allow unmarried couples or not ,at first we confused we are welcomed there or not.

Food was tasteful and sufficient in quantity. Staff behaviour was very courteous and the room was well big enough. The check-in and check-out were smooth. Room cleanliness was good and required no. towels are given.

There was no elevator power backup and due to that when light goes off the elevator stopped working and fell from a height. I've actually experienced it that and it was traumatizing. Also, the room bathroom was not properly cleaned and bad smell was coming.

Comfortable mattress. Lift. Hot Water. Working WIFI. Helpful staff. Short uphill walk to main road and then steps up to MH Marg. Everything in Gangtok is uphill and this wasnt so bad if you take it alowly.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED I have spent 11 nights here on two separate visits and it has become a home away from home. The rooms are very comfortable, extremely clean and great value for money! But the highlight has been the excellent service. All of the staff are friendly, helpful and courteous. A special mention to Aniket and Prabhat who have been fantastic, always happy to help and give any assistance they can offer. Both are true gentlemen and I offer my sincere thanks for making my stay so enjoyable 🙏

I liked everything

It was a pleasant stay in hotel. Our host Anjana from staff was well behaved and attended to us very well. Good hotel to stay at a affordable price.

Wifi needs improvement.

- Got a really cool deal for a night's stay from Booking.com - About 10 mins worth of walk to/from M.G Marg (good hangout place) - Courteous staff. - Room had hardwood flooring, enough space around and very comfortable bed. - Super cleam bathroom with always on hot water. - Food is great, although I did feel it was on premium side of pricing, especially beverages served to room were a bit on the pricier.

- The location!!! Its just about 10 mins of walk from M.G Marg, but, !!!CAUTION!!! those 5/10 mins about 100 mt. of hike/climb are not for the weak of heart (literally) or weak of knees or for the generally unfit. The approach road to the hotel is atleast a 60° incline! So good luck! - If taking your own vehicle do consider steep downhill and steep uphill climb while going in and coming out of the hotel respectively. - If taking parents/family in self driven car, best suggestion to go in/out of the hotel is to take a taxi.

Location of Hotel near to M.G.MARKET. Food and services are nice. The manager Shri Suddep Chettri is such a wonderful and helping person, always guides you for the success of trip.

Nothing to mention

The best value for money place in Gangtok. I tried staying at so many different hotels but the staff here was really commendable, to be specific Aniket and Anjana were really helpful in a lot of ways. The place was really clean. And the food was also decent.

There was a little dampness in some of the rooms but not all of them. So just check the room before check in.
