Location and views were amazing and could not be beaten. The room is massive and our balcony had a nice view over the islands. Sunset from the hotel was amazing. Very peaceful midweek and then busy on Friday and Saturday. The hotel itself is on top of a steep hill so you will need to drive or rent a car to get here. Kitchen wasn't well equipped but had a hot plate and just enough for us to cook breakfast and dinner after a trip to Lotte in Tongyeong. Not many people speak English so be prepared to mime and use translation apps and you'll get by. I would probably come back again just for those views and sunsets.

The pool is currently empty and being fixed and there is no communication about this before I booked. I booked this hotel specifically to use to pool - while I understand that in Korea pools aren't that important to most tourists, if you are booking here because of the pool, you should get confirmation it will be open for your stay first.

The location of the hotel and views, including from our room were extraordinary, and we enjoyed our stay thoroughly. Thanks very much to hotel and staff.

One of the reasons for our stay was to enjoy the facilities of this "resort" other than just the view. The main facility- the pool- was closed. This was not disclosed at booking. False advertisement
