Quiet homestay in calm neighbourhood; very nice host (does not speak english but tried to make our stay as memorable as possible!), we stayed 4 nights in the deluxe room (2 double beds) that had it's own private bathroom, fridge, sink and with another ajoining room that had 2 bunkbeds (lots of space for just the 2 of us!!! ) Shared fully equipped kitchen use with basic breakfast choices ( instant coffee, bread, eggs, rice and noodles) we appreciated our stay and overall found it to be a good value for the price!

If you are here for a very short stay it's good to know that you are in a nice residentiel area but a bit out of the central part of the city! The homestay is close to the cable car but a good 20 minute walk to the edge of the main town area. You do have easy access to buses that will bring you closer to the action and ferry terminal. We chose to go out and eat in town every night as we found the restaurant options more interesting. Walking back was not a problem, we felt safe and used the tunnel many times but after a long day of visiting buses seemed to be a better option!

Quiet neighbourhood but close to so many good eateries. We were able to walk to the luge / cable car as well as the city center (40mins). Large spacious room with high ceiling and large windows. Beds were comfortable and room clean. The host ws beyond excellent. They took such good care of our family. We had such a wonderful stay and wish we had spent more time there

I usually don’t leave long reviews but I had to this time. TRUST ME- book this guesthouse. Aside from it being stunning, the owners are the most genuine, caring, kind elderly couple I’ve ever met. I wanted to go to a specific island for a hike and asked for advice from Mr. Kim. He suggested to travel with him on the very next day to another island which was incredible! When I had a wound on my feet they treated me like I’m their child. I felt so cared for and safe. I won’t ever shut up about this amazing experience and I want to come back for sure. Please treat them with the utmost respect if you choose to stay at their home! There’s a 5gcs store nearby, ferry terminal and bus station.

The host was very friendly, kind and helpful. Even though there was a language barrier she went out of her way to make me feel welcome. The room and bathroom were large, clean and neat. The accommodation was near a bus route and there were many restaurants in the area.

A most welcoming family guesthouse placed in a beautiful villa. The owners are very welcoming and friendly. Our room was elegant, spacious and spotlessly clean. Tongyong in general is a fantastic destination, definitely worth visiting.

This guesthouse is a gem, blending traditional Korean charm with modern comforts. The rooms are spacious and house is beautifully decorated, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is delicious (Tongyeong local style kimbop). Highly recommended for families and friends seeking a unique and comfortable stay.

From the outside Bella Guesthouse may not look like much, but our hosts were incredibly kind and went above and beyond to make our stay a pleasant one. The breakfast served was mostly Korean style but we were allowed to make a few requests that our hosts graciously accommodated. The family room was big with a separate balcony and its own bathroom and we did not hear the other guests at all. Bella Guesthouse is also fairly close to several bus stops so getting there is easy.

The house is really beautiful and spatial, it reminds one a bit of a princess room! The bathroom was new and clean with enough towels, tooth paste, shampoo etc. The owners also cleaned our room even though we only stayed for two nights. Breakfast was a bit too early for us, so I felt bad about not being able to enjoy it more, but it was delicious traditional chungmu kimbap and soup as well as watermelon as a snack :)). Water and coffee was also available! Thank you for accommodating us!

Great Korean breakfast. Landlady very kind. Allowed late checkout and prepared non-spicy breakfast for us as we were having tummy problems due to the spicey Korean food.

Could do with darker room curtains to keep out the light and morning sun.

Large bright room and fantastic home-made breakfast in a quiet neighbourhood and with a playground just opposite. Very kind hosts!
