The hotel is very well situated. Very good restaurant. The rooms are a bit outdated. They need to take off the carpet and use plank floors.

The rooms were fairly clean with all the appropriate items (towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc.). Additionally, there was a separate parking deck where our car was safe to leave.

The front desk check-in assistant tried to charge me 2 times more for the room than what I had booked on Booking.com. Additionally, we were told we would need to pay a parking fee for the days we stayed, which was fine. However, we were charged twice. The first time when we checked in. However, they did not note that we had paid in the system. So when we went to check out, they charged us again. We told them we had already paid in cash at check-in, but they would not accept that as the individual who took the payment (and most likely pocketed the cash) had not notated it in their system. Thus we were forced to pay twice, a total of $80, for our parking. We were ripped off and overcharged either due to malice or incompetence, neither of which is acceptable. Either way, we certainly would never stay there again! Also, the carpet in both our rooms was very old, worn, wrinkled, and felt grimy under our bare feet, like we needed to wash them afterwards. I hated going without socks or shoes. There was also a raised dais in each of the two rooms we stayed in which was weird and the steps up were incredibly slippery and thus quite dangerous to walk on without shoes.

on the upside the location is very centric, but the noise level at night unbearable

it was extremely loud at night due to the discotheques in close proximity. only around 6am the music stopped and I could sleep. very noisy neighborhood, motorbike races all night and screaming base music until early morning. should you stay there avoid weekends or ask for a room towards the interior, although i believe that it makes little difference.
