The pool and the restaurant were easily our favorite amenities. Incredible food every single time. And the pool was so perfect for how hot it was during our stay. We also loved how lush and green the entire hotel was. It felt like we were in our own oasis. Also loved the peacock and frog roaming around the premises. Oh and I especially loved how the towels smelled. Felt very spa like!

My only minor feedback would be to take care of cleaning crevices behind the toilet/next to the shower. When we arrived, we noticed that there was hair back there which doesn’t personally bother me a whole lot and it could be because of how tight/small the bathroom is but it was noticeable to me. Other than that, I think it was an excellent hotel for our weekend.

Where to start...? La Alondra is an oasis of peace right off the main road between Corrientes and Resistencia, shortly before the bridge that crosses the Paraná river. This arterial connection between two provinces is extremely busy and noisy. Then, you enter La Alondra and all of the noise and bustle is gone. The guesthouse is refinedly furnished and teleports you back to a time when carriages and horses were the norm and time passed only half as fast as today. The rooms are absolutely beautiful and spacious, clean and fully equipped, the beds excellent. Staff is friendly and helpful. Indoor guarded parking avaliable. Central to the guesthouse is a very nice patio garden with open air pool. A very special mention for the excellent Bistro where you can enjoy a delicious meal with some fine Argentinian wines at a very reasonable price. The kitchen has a nice vegetable-oriented twist and vegetarians should find something to their liking. A evening stroll to the riverside to see the sun set behind the bridge is highly recommended. In short: we would have loved to stay (much) longer!

The old fashioned bath tub with shower, although beautiful and stylish, isn't very practical and can be dangerous for older people.

This is the most stunning hotel-so beautiful. Unfortunately we had a very short time there as just using it to break the drive between Puerto Iguazú and Salta. The bedrooms are luxurious, with incredibly comfortable beds and pillows. Dinner in the restaurant was incredible, as was breakfast. Wish we could have stayed longer.

It is the most charming boutique hotel I have stayed in years.

I love a minibar in the room. They don’t have one. Then you have to go down and ask for a waiter to give you some water. Not always the staff was available. But it is a small complaint to the charm of the place.

Beautiful well transformed ancient house. Property is the main attraction of the guest house.

Bath shower could be improved with better water pressure and the bat tube, although beautiful, is not very practical.

The service, the linen, the shower head, how everything is perfect.

You have to be extra careful not to slip. They should have rubber mattresses. But plenty of handbars.

Lovely hotel with a small garden area. Great restaurant. Friendly hosts. Free parking in a garage area next door.

The staff is very attentive. The bed , it was very comfortable. Overall, the atmosphere of the hotel is relaxed and comfortable.

It smells of insecticide.
