Good location, several OK restaurants nearby. Beware of the junk food outlets. Walking is feasible in Magelang! Little side streets are peaceful. Not that there is much to see or do here, but two jumbo volcanoes loom nearby and can be visited. Rooms are clean but on the bleak side. Bathroom basic. Efficient new AC. Slept well. McDonald's close but Coffeeville down the road is much nicer.

Was this a medical clinic at one point? Old fashioned and provincial. OK but lacking in charm. Good value though.

the place was an ex small hospital then converted to RedDoorz chain, the room was big and decent, they provided hot water with coffee or tea, and nearby there's a McDonald and also very near to the center of Magelang

My only complaint was the Aircon seems not working properly, so it's kinda hot air coming out from the Aircon, they need to fix the Room no 1

Staff was good, friendly and helpful.

My room was out of electricity. Called the owner and he turned off the phone, no answer at all. We were moved to another room by the staff that tried to be as helpful as possible, that was being renovated. No bathroom, we needed to use the toilet outside. The room was dusty due to renovation. We were moved to the better room the next day that was much better. But one day gone for the bad room, unfortunately, left the staff (which was nice, nothing wrong with her at all) couldn't do anything since the owner was irresponsible.
