We absolutely loved the hotel, the location, the architecture and the interior design. It felt like being in an old Italian movie, it was very charming. The room was a good size, we enjoyed having the balcony and terrace with sea view. There are plenty of toiletries provided as well as slippers. The air conditioning worked very well. The room also has a fridge. Furthermore, the food is fantastic. We enjoyed the breakfast, lunch and dinner. The staff are very helpful and friendly and always greeted us with a smile. When we asked for extra toilet rolls or an ironing board, we received it within minutes. The hotel itself is beautiful and you can comfortably enjoy the pool and beach which are both very close by. We also parked (for free) on site and never struggled to find a spot, even with several weddings going on! We had a fantastic stay!

I cannot really think of anything negative; the whole experience was honestly fantastic.

The landscaping with palm trees, fruit trees, and flowers was breathtaking. The breakfast choices were plentiful, and the staff was more than accommodating. The private beach was wonderful.

Our room was spacious. We had a beautiful view from our balcony. Our only complaint is with the mattress which to hard for our comfort.

Friendly staff, a large and private beach, as well as a big parking lot. The rooms have balconies with sea views. There is a restaurant in the courtyard with a beautiful view. Really enjoyed. Breakfast is ok.

The room and items in the room (especially beds) were old.

Location and the room

Food was very good but not quite as good as it could have been. It felt like it was the chefs night off, and not happy that having paid to have a massage we were expected to pay again to use the spa pool, etc when we were residents of the hotel.

The hotel felt very exclusive but without a high price. The pool area and beach were beautiful and the staff very attentive. The Pastry Chef produced the most divine desserts!

Location is amazing, very well integrated in the natural environment. Staff very kind and friendly, room clean and large.

Quite expensive, surprised to discover that access to the beach was not included in the price. Breakfast and lunch did not fully meet our expectations.

A hotel of its period, elegant in style, with a good position overlooking the sea and with very easy access from the railway station and to the port. Own swimming pool and access to the beach. A good and convenient restaurant for dinner and breakfast.

The bedroom would have looked better on arrival if the window shutters had been opened to take advantage of the night and the view.

Location with a pool and beach is great.

We found the room small as is expected in Europe, however the shower is very tiny. Difficult to get in and out and bending down is impossible.

Such a beautiful property in a great location with beautifully decorated rooms. Great sea views. Spotlessly clean. The staff here are so friendly. Lovely buffet breakfast with something for everyone. We found out this was once residency to Queen Helena which would have been a beautiful place to live.

Nothing at all

This charming grand old hotel is lovely and comfortable. It is easy to imagine days gone by here and families coming back generation after generation. Being off season we had the place to ourselves. The staff was outstanding particularly our waiter in the dining room who was gracious and kind.
