Quite warm room

Very good value (I think we paid £13 per person), conveniently situated, clean and well kept. Felt basic but comfortable enough and safe. Perfectly fine for one night. Close to fast food and plenty of parking as you'd expect.

Rooms are very small especially for three adults per room. The bathroom is like a plane bathroom. The top bunks were hard to get into for adults.

The code for barrier and room was changed after our first day and we were locked out We had to get someone else to open the barrier and had to telephone the resident manager to update our key .

The receptionist was friendly and helpful. However, he apparently gave us false information as he promised us a refund for the room, only the hotel later to refuse to make the payment.

AN ABSOLUTE DISASTER. The rooms’ curtains were full of tiny black insects. The receptionist tried to offer us 4 different rooms but each was infested with insects. The receptionist could not tell what the insects were, and didn't want to risk bringing any pests with us to home, so we proposed to cancel our booking and not to sleep at the hotel. The receptionist agreed to this and told us that we get our money back, giving us a written receipt that stated that we are entitled to the refund, and instructing to contact the hotel via email afterwards. So we left the hotel and requested the refund via email. The hotel took almost a week to answer our enquiry only to tell us that they will not make the refund after all. To sum up, the hotel employee agreed to cancel the reservation and promised us our money back in writing, we did not use the room due to the insect infection and had to find alternative accommodation, and afterwards the hotel withdrew its promise of the refund, so we had to pay for nothing. Basically a fraud.

Gates were locked on arrival despite supposed 24/7 check in. Air conditioning not working! Fridge not working! Shower was boiling - to the point it was dangerous. Breakfast was abysmal - literally white bread, madiera cake, orange juice and yoghurt
