We loved our stay at the Hotel de France. On arrival we were shown to our reserved parking and then taken up to our room, which was superb. We stayed in a large room at the top of the hotel, which afforded beautiful views over the garden and landscape towards the sea. The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. The only draw-back we found with the room was the lack of a shower; instead of this we had a large bath. The breakfast was excellent, and offered wide choice of delicious breads (the brioche was a highlight), teas, juices and spreads. Finally, the staff here very friendly and helpful, and made every effort to ensure that we had a pleasant stay. We hope to return to this lovely hotel.

Everything was great: easy, friendly check-in, comfortable room, lovely gardens, good buffet breakfast… there was nothing we would have changed. We reserved a parking space for peace of mind, though there were spaces available on the road outside. After 5 weeks of travelling and camping, this was the perfect end to our holiday. We had a drink at the hotel bar before heading out for dinner. The creperie Ty Breizh was just 2 minutes away and we got a table, no problem. We usually stay in Roscoff when we take the ferry, but decided on a change of scene - so pleased we did 🙂

Great location in the centre of town, and a 20 minute walk/5 minute car drive from the nearby small beach with parking spot and several restaurants/place to drink. The hotel looks fresh and revently renovated. The room was very clean an nicely renovated according to modern standards. The family room is very cosy, with a door in between the two spaces. The garden is really welcoming and we enjoyed our perfect morning breakfast in the sun. The hotel team was very friendly and service minded, we felt super welcome!

Great location for travelling back to ferry port. Centrally located in Saint Pol de Leon which is a lovely little town 10mins drive from the ferry terminal. Room was exceptionally clean and the hotel has a lovely garden and bar which was great to sit out in and enjoy a drink at the end of a long drive.

Room was slightly more dated than appears on pictures, but was clean and comfortable. We didn’t realise until after booking that you needed to reserve car parking, but when we tried to the car park was full. We managed to find parking on an adjacent street eventually but it was a bit of a hassle.

Breakfast was particularly good, having it in the sun in the garden was a bonus! Room was comfortable and simply furnished. Communal areas were well thought out and furnished. Loved the hand-written guide in each room. Great location away from Roscoff but close enough after late night arrival.

Nothing. Would recommend as an independent and well priced hotel close to Roscoff if ferrying to/from SW England.

A reasonable choice of restaurants, creperies and bars within walking distance A pleasant private garden with seats to relax in Rooms with a garden view can also see the coast, which is a 5 minute drive away The ferry terminal is less than 15 min drive, and a buffet breakfast as available from 07:00

like many old buildings there is a tendency for floor boards to creak

We loved the location and rooms. The hotel was clean and spacious (by euro standards) and our family suite had a very large bathroom. Our hosts were friendly l,attentive and caring, making sure we always had what we needed and guided us through parking in the busy parking lot. His efforts to ensure we were happy were much appreciated- along with generous pours of wine at the adorable bar area! Our weather did not cooperate to air and enjoy the garden area but it looked quite nice.

This is a little gem of a hotel situated in a great location for exploring not only the lovely town but Brittany it self. Immaculately looked after and run by its owner. Jerome. Fantastic breakfasts and a beautiful garden, and above all the staff who were always there to be of service.

Location for ferry . Quiet room .St Pol de Leon is a lovely, peaceful town

A very frosty receptionist...a smile and a few kind words cost nothing ! We had prepaid online, but were greeted by a closed barrier to the hotel and the opening words " it costs 8 e to park , what do you want to do ?" . Great service to tired guests....I think not. We had emailed the hotel to advise our ETA was going to be 21.00 pm but didn't get a reply.

We were greeted by helpful and friendly staff. The hotel is very stylish with a quirky twist. The weather was grey and windy, so we didn't sit out, but the garden looked lovely. There was a small bar where we enjoyed cocktails. The buffet breakfast was very good. Private parking in front of the hotel too.
