The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. We were there for a wedding in a nearby Chateau, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we got there.

I personally missed a kettle in the room, however, I believe this is part of a plan going forward.

Very friendly staff, made us feel very welcome. As we arrived late, they called to a restaurant nearby to inform them we were coming so they wouldn’t close. Hotel is a bit old but in this case with its clean room and comfy bed it’s quite charming. Very close to the A20 as well. Ideal for a midnight stop

Rooms at front of hotel were loud. Back rooms fine. Bathrooms had no clip to gang up shower. Water very expensive!

This seems to be a hotel focussed on hosting large coach parties, who were well catered for with both dinner and breakfast during our stay. However, as we were not in a coach party we were not offered dinner and only scant morsels remained for breakfast, which were not replenished. In addition the coach parties rowdy march to thier rooms spoilt an otherwise peaceful sleep
