Varosi 4 Seasons didn't just meet but well exceeded our expectations. This family run boutique hotel is in a beautiful historical building restored with love and meticulous attention to detail. The building has many nooks and crannies to settle into. The rooms have all the modcoms, but in an authentic style. The outdoor areas are amazing with breathtaking view of the valley and the mountains, reaching all the way to the sea. The service was an absolutely excellent example of Greek hospitality! We would be delighted to be able to visit again, in spring to enjoy the stone fruit trees in full colour and in winter to enjoy the snow. Thank you so much 💕

We loved everything..

Wonderful place with historical significance and modern comfort. Beautiful and stunning views from balcony and terraces. Parking in front of place. Waterfalls park nearby and excellent restaurant. Breakfast great in or outdoors. Staff was exceptional as well.

No negative comments

The staff was polite and kind, the location near the waterfalls, garden and restaurants is comfortable, the view from the terrace was perfect. The friend family we were with told me they can give 10 points for the room - every thing was great. We stayed at Varosy 4 Seasons 8 years ago and our impressions then were perfect, too.

I'm talking about room 8 - very uncomfortable for us: 1. The bed is big enough but located in the corner - normal access for one person only, the other must crawl along the wall or jump over; 2. It was too hot, the AC is very noisy and smells bad - so we couldn't use it; 3. The TV has only 5 channels (my husband missed to the European football championship, which is broadcast on national television); 4. There was no refrigerator nor bottles of water. So, I do not recommend room 8 for couples especially old or with movement difficulties.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Very comfortable, a fantastic view and an excellent situation in a historically interesting area near the waterfalls and old town cafes and restaurants. Good breakfast with home baking and homemade cherry (a local speciality) jam. If you have a car it makes an excellent base for exploring the surrounding area including the Macedonian palace sites at Pella and Vergina (the royal tombs there are the most interesting).and even Thessaloniki.

Location was great, right in the old town and near the falls and restaurants (although we did have a bit of trouble getting there with google maps on the phone, but figured it out). The staff was fantastic, always pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was good with coffee juices, several breads/pastries, fruit, cereal, and cooked to order eggs or omelets. We had a balcony overlooking the valley which was wide and comfy.

The location was perfect. Very short walk to the waterfalls, which we visited twice. Also, the balcony faced a stunning view, and we enjoyed sitting there in the morning and evening. Just beautiful.

The breakfast was okay, but could have offered more fresh fruits, vegetables, and cheeses -- comparing it to other hotels we stayed at on this trip.

There are simply no words to describe how magnificent “Varosi 4 Seasons” is! A beautiful place at a perfect location, cosy with a marvellous view. Staff is especially kind and helpful. The room we stayed in was clean and had all the necessary equipment and more! Definitely a place to aim for when planning a visit to Edessa.

The rooms were not particularly sound proof but this is totally understandable due to the age of the building! Don’t forget it lies in a historic district!

Loved the view from the balcony , the central position, the beautiful renovation. The freshly prepared eggs for breakfast if wanted. The whole of the breakfast was beautifully served and plentiful. All of the team there were very attentive, and welcoming.

Perfect location!A beautiful hotel full of history and antiques ,with a stunning view from the terrace of the room, comfortable bed, very clean and well maintained! The breakfast is good. Special thanks to Maria the girl from the reception,for the good hospitality and for the delicious cocktails.

What I didn't like is that the hotel itself has no good sound insulation, voices could be heard from the next room and they must have heard us, and the other thing was the TV signal was constantly lost
