It is a modest centrally located hotel with a private parking. There a lot of good restaurants and café nearby. All touristic sites are in a walking distance. The staff is homely unformal and very friendly.

There was no breakfast, but this was not a real problem as there were many cafes and bakeries around the hotel.

All the staff we got to meet during our short stay were extraordinarily nice! The parking space was great and crucial for us since we are not accustomed to greek street parking :-) It is dated but meticulously clean and the location in the city right at the plateia was great. All in all it felt like staying at an great aunts place and I hope to visit Edessa again sometime and come back to Hotel Elena.

Great central location with a very friendly manager and good service. Surrounded by good cafes/bars and a short walk from the waterfalls which are excellent. Free onsite parking a bonus and great wifi

No refridgerator in rooms but good value cold drinks available from reception. Bathroom dated.

Great location in Edessa. Close to cafes and restaurants- and a wonderful vibe in this part of Edessa. The price was reasonable.

Quite a bit of noise outside during the night. The shower was a challenge and the shower curtain was somewhat pointless as the floor always ended up looking like a swimming pool.

Family run hotel, great value, location, safety. Vassilis (owner manger) takes personal pride in helping guests with any issue, made me feel like family from arrival. Modestly appointed, centrally located Hotel, functional; clean, elevator, quiet, soft bed. Park and walk everywhere in this lovely town. Thank you to Vassilis for making my stay so pleasant and for helping me sort out computer problems.

Nothing. The hotel was as expected for reasonably priced accommodation. The service was exceptional.

The hotel is located in the heart of the high city, close to the waterfalls. It has an elevator, parking and air-conditioners. The rooms are clean and the people are super nice and friendly!

The street was noisy until late in the night and we couldn't leave the windows open and get fresh air. The bed matrac was a little too hard for my taste.

The Hotel is at a great location, right in the middle of town. The room was clean and spacious, and we had extra towels and bedsheets. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The balcony had a decent view, overlooking a busy square.

The AC unit was broken, which didn't matter much because the temperature was always relatively cool, but it would've been nice to have. I wish the windows had screens so that bugs didn't come in.

The hotel is quite old but the hosts have kept it very clean and have managed to keep the facilities functional to a good standard! The staff was very kind and helped us with everything we needed The location is excellent and the parking free and available!

It needs a general renovation!

The owner, Vassilis, and manager, Soula, were very amicable, patient, jovial and accommodating. I enquired about the possibility of having a fridge put in my room, and the owner said he would put one in the room the following morning. The room was very clean and spacious, and the bathroom had been recently renovated and very modern. The air-con worked like a breeze, the TV was new and the reception was excellent. The view from the balcony of Room 103 was great. A very relaxed, supportive vibe throughout the entire hotel. A very enjoyable stay.

Although the room was very clean and spacious, the decor and colour schemes were a little provincial - it felt like I was occupying a bedroom in the home of a local Greek family in a small Greek town. The property did not provide breakfast (a COVID precaution), but this wasn’t a problem as there were so many comfortable, trendy cafes, providing decent coffee and mouth-watering pastries just a stone’s throw from the property.
