A business-style standard hotel with neutral decor. Good facilities, comfortable beds, good hot breakfast with mostly savoury choices. Cleanliness was very good, lots of complimentary things (kettle with tea, toothbrush, toothpaste, slippers, notebook, soap, etc.). Nice, kind staff who spoke english well.

We knew our room wouldn't have harbour view, but the window it had was essentially fake (no light was coming in at all as it was on a small opening of the building). That made the room very dark even with the lights on, because the lights were quite dim. But other than that, can't really fault the place!

We were traveling by bus and train, so the location is superb as it is within 5 min walk to the train and bus stations. The location is also close to several sightseeing sites and activities such as the Maritime Plaza (right across the street); walking up to the Keelung sign (15" walk); the MiaoKou Night Market (one of our favorite Taiwan night markets with its stalls numbered so they're easy to identify); three temples: Chenghuang - right across the street!, Ching-An, and Dian Ji; the Midnight Fish Market (Kanziding); and Khoo Tsu-Song Old Mansion. Besides the great location, the rooms were clean, nicely appointed, with a bidet toilet! And breakfast is included, both Chinese and Western dishes. We were also able to store our luggage after checkout and return late in the afternoon to pick-up for our return to Taipei.

We were a family of five (all adults) and at the time of booking, the only thing available was three rooms for 5 ppl. I requested to have the rooms as close to each other as possible. Two of the rooms were adjacent on the same floor, but the third room was on another floor. I wish we could have been all on the same floor, but it wasn't a deal breaker and I feel the hotel did their best to try and accommodate our request.

Easy check-in. View from the room is great. Room is clean except for the hidden corners. Breakfast selection is great for a hotel of this size. Great location, within walking distance to Miao Kou night market. Carrefour is just a few steps away. Wifi requires password, which is a great setup.

There was accumulated dust at the hidden corners of the room. Wished the room deco was brighter.

Not much to complain about, clean, comfortable and near the mrt station.

I swear it may very well be only me but the ventilation system feel old or dusty, my sinus got worse there. The staff checking me in was ok, but the staff checking me out felt rather unfriendly (but then again my interactions were minimal so I don’t think it is fair, given it occured once)

Close to all shops, restaurants and night market. The bed was comfortable. The shower was very good and it has such fancy toilet with heated seat and water to clean. Breakfast is mainly Asian but there was also toast, jam and coffee. Staff was very friendly. Don’t doubt to take this one.

Only important when you are by car. I selected hotel with free parking and it was in my list. The hotel did had some note that you had to look for parking yourself. You will have to find a parking garage yourself which can be a challenge in this busy city. Dropping of a person and luggage might be an option. (Which we did). Else you will need to carry luggage to and from the hotel. Would be nice to get some clear instructions on the parking options. For a foreigner it can be hard.

It’s in the city, very convenient for shopping, looking for food. Near train stations, bus station.

Outside the window is a wall and it’s so close to the window. If this window is for ventilation or emergency exit purposes , it is all failed. The wall is so dirty, I would not open the window. There’s no room for me to evacuate if there is any emergency. So might as well no window at all

Breakfast was very Chinese oriented. Very limited western food. Language was a huge barrier. Not much understanding of English.

Even though room was very small, we made it work for us. Paid extra for harbour view room, but to me all rooms appeared to have same view. Great view of harbour through small window..

Very central location, with rooms overlooking the harbour. Room a bit dark, but comfortable bed and good shower. Breakfast rather limited, with a mixture of local and western offerings. Food replenished when required. Reception staff very friendly and helpful.

Nothing of note, except view out of window limited because it needed cleaning and stacks of h & v pipework and equipment.

the location is perfect and convenient to the night market, the keeling train station and bus stations! you can enjoy thr harbor view from the window

the bed was quite hard but apparently we had a very nice and juvenate sleep so I guess if you book the room, just try not to think the bed is so hard and you can't sleep. the bed is magical 😬

Very nice view (harbor). Location was very nearby of the train station. The staff was very friendly.

Hotel is not as modern as some others, for example they still use a key, which you'll only get one for a double bedroom. But it still met our demands perfectly (good location, nice view and breakfast).
