Every thing was good when we arrived

Didnt like that on the saturday they had a private function on in the bar and we were not told beforehand untill we got back to the bar and told we could not go in as it was private party neither could we park our vehicle as there were no spaces even though we were staying at the hotel for 3 nights we think we should of been told either when we checked in or on the saturday morning after breakfast so that we could of made alternative arrangements for saturday night in advance just think there guests should have been told

Central location, within walking distance of the Groot Markt. The room in the hotel was quiet, on the first floor and accessible by lift, with a comfortable double bed, and a fabulous bathroom with a walk-in shower. The room was a little on the smaller size, but for one night's stay, it was perfect. The hotel has its own secure on-site parking, and the reception provides an access fob for the gate and the front door, should you wish to leave the hotel, which we did, as we were recommended a restaurant by the hotel, which was a short walk away. Breakfast was a delicious Continental spread, including cooked eggs on offer, cooked to your specifications. We are looking forward to stay with Hotel Amaryllis again.

There was nothing to not like!

We have stayed here a few times now. The couple who own the hotel are very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are very comfortable. The hotel is only a few minutes walk from the centre of Veurne but still very peaceful. Food in their bistro is very good. Also it’s great to have secure parking so near the centre of town. Thoroughly recommend a stay here.

Very friendly and helpful staff, excellent very central location, good breakfast, free parking, lovely outdoor area, historic building and extremely comfortable beds.

We were in a top floor bedroom which has sloped ceilings and many low beams. If you are even slightly tall, avoid these rooms. The top floor felt very hot even though the weather outside was only low 20s, and the hotel does not have air conditioning. The hotel provides fans which helped but when we left the window open overnight we were both bitten all over by mosquitos.

The hotel is very close to the centre of town, but very quiet. It's in a lovely building. My single room was plenty spacious enough. Good shower. Very good breakfast, eggs on demand. Staff were faultless, nothing was too much trouble. Local beer is sold at the bar. I would especially like to thank Elisa for the time and patience she showed me in booking the next hotel in my "tour" of Belgium. For a technological dinosaur who insists on doing Europe without a mobile telephone or other paraphernalia, this was of inestimable help.

There is a coffee machine in the room, but I don't drink coffee and wouldn't have known how to use it if I did. A kettle would have been better, so good job I'd brought my own.

You get to enjoy a fabulous room in a small but well-kept hotel in a great location. We have stayed there twice, and our hostess was wonderful on both occasions. We had lovely Continental breakfasts during both stays, which included fresh fruit, eggs cooked to our liking, warm and crusty rolls, as well as croissants, and an assortment of spreads, cold meats and cheese. Coffee or tea was also on offer, along with orange juice.

Everything was to our liking, thank you.

The location of the hotel simply could noy be better - just a street behind the main square, extremely quite and with a park right outside the front and a bus stop right outside the back. The building itself was beautiful and very tastefully decorated. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was absolutely superb. A bit like Veurne itself the hotel is a real gem of a place. I would wholeheartedly recommend it.

The room, though comfortable, wasn't the largest and the bathroom in particular was a little cramped but really - no complaints at all.

One of the best things about the hotel is the location, is in the center and close to everything. The breakfast was incredible, full of options and fresh food (fruits, bread and eggs). Everything is so clean, organized, and beautiful (is an incredibly good-looking building). We are grateful for the hotel because the check-in closes at 7 pm and we arrive at 9 pm for the transportation issues the personnel was really kind and attentive.

In our situation, the room was on the second floor and the height was an issue for one of us, so if you are tall we think that is recommended to mention this.

Our room was exceptional - more like a suite really. Lovely tall ceilings and large windows. the bed was large and very comfortable and the shower pressure was lovely. There was also a tray with a coffee pod machine and a bottle of mineral water along with two glasses. We were greeted and booked in by a very friendly lady who also served us breakfast the next morning. Coffee was excellent.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Great help from Tineka (on arrival and during our one night stay) The room for disability use was a little difficult with the wheel chair but had all the facilities necessary. The hotel had good access ramps both inside and out which was a welcome bonus. The location close to the town centre was good to visit the local independent shops (would have spent more time but storm conditions did not allow too much). Hearty breakfast excellent eggs.
