The location for Frontier Suites is exceptional and centrally located. When staying at Frontier Suites, we often rent a vehicle, so we can get downtown and to grocery stores. There are some restaurants within walking distance, so we do have choices of food. We do enjoy the convenience of having kitchen facilities (stove, refrigerator, sink) so we can prepare our own meals when staying for longer periods of time.

Some of the rooms are showing their age, but that is expected living in SE Alaska within a rain forest. Personally, I do like the ambience of the place.

Jacob was very accommodating when he changed our room to one that didn't get the street noise and direct sunlight. Without air conditioning, our assigned room was fairly uncomfortable. Bed was comfortable. The room had all the usual home kitchen appliances in good working order. The provided coffee was pretty tasty.

The bathtub drain couldn't keep up with the flow. No A/C, but it was an unusually hot 3 days for Juneau. Sheets were worn and thin, but the bath towels were large and fluffy.

it was clean, the deluxe had a full kitchen, full size fridge. spacious. located close to good food and shopping ( walking distance). great staff. great views. everything in the room worked. I liked that they had 2 different styles of pillow, soft and firm. might have been accidental but I don't care.

like most places in Alaska, as winter comes in, so do the rodents. the kitchen could have been cleaner... and the sheets are super cheap and coarse. this was probably the worst part. and I'm no snob. but they were very rough.

The shuttle from the ferry and to the airport was incredibly helpful, and when I accidentally dismissed my early morning alarm and missed my scheduled shuttle time they called my room, which woke me up and saved my whole day. The three staff members I met were all very friendly, the sheets and bathroom were clean, and the nearby food options were good enough after getting in late in the dark and rain. The kitchen and living room spaces were a pleasant surprise (but I guess suite is in the name... :D) and I could see staying here for a longer stint if you had a car.

You can tell the building and carpets are older, there were small stains and the walkway into my room was broken plastic, but neither of those were really a big deal. The TV was also at a super odd angle to the bed, but again, nitpicking here.

We loved having the kitchen. The room was homey and well located next to the airport and the glacier. There is a grocery close by and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

The trundle bed was old and springy. I was told they are in the process of replacing them. Make sure to get an updated room if you’re planning to use the couch bed.

We only spent a night, but the suite was large with a nice kitchen. Very clean. Staff friendly and accommodating. Neighborhood and walking path close by. Little local Philippine restaurant within short walking distance. Being close to airport and shuttle service is very convenient.

Some road noise.

Amazing staff and neat little room. The kitchen and hot tub were a great value. There were 3 buildings and the shuttle driver came to us. Which was a huge blessing.

The bed felt like sleeping on concrete, and the pillows were flat. We checked in and actually walked into someone in the room. Room assigned was not empty. Kinda awkward.

Great location near the airport with shuttle. Room was clean and big and had everything we needed. The manager was working hard to get us shuttled and checked in as quickly as possible.

The furnishings were a bit dated and the amenities were basic, but for the price it was fine.

There is a continuing motor noise from the range exhaust in the kitchen. There is no operable switch to turn it off. The aging refrigerator compressor runs continually making noise. That might be mitigated by making ice in the freezer, or a jug of water in the refrigerator.

The location was good and any food we had was good. Friendly helpful staff. Having airport transfers was a bonus.

Our rooms were rather dated and tired looking. We had great views but it was noisy due to facing the road and train line.
