- The property is right in the historic centre of the village and has so much charm and history - There are wonderful views across the old town and hills to the West from the house - The host was friendly and accommodating - There's some outdoor garden space for activities - The host let us bring our bicycles inside to keep them safe - The host provided breakfast for us for €7 each

- It wasn't clear initially how we were supposed to enter the property – we didn't receive instructions for when we arrived - The shower in our room did not have a door which was a bit odd - It was a bit confusing as to which areas were common areas and which were private

Beautiful old building perched on the top of the fortified village next to the beautiful cathedral. The building has a lot of authentic charm and has space to park bikes inside! Nice breakfast and very friendly host.

While the room was nicely fitted with a nice modern shower, the lack of a shower curtain was not my preference.

Great to stay in a historic bishop's house in the centre of the charming old village of Viviers. Rooms are simple and a bit quirky, the beds are comfortable and the host is very friendly and helpful. Safe storage for our bikes and very good value for money. Good restaurant Les Chevaliers just around the corner.

Everything was fine

Great location next to the cathedral. Lovely host who lives on site and always on hand to help and offer suggestions of where to visit. Free parking in front of property. Great views. Lovely garden and pool. Air conditioning.

Pillows could be more comfortable. Strange massage bed in the room, which could be a positive for some!

Some might disagree with the decor, but this is someone's home, and half the fun of staying at one of these gites is getting away from anonymous chain hotel rooms.

Spacious rooms in a middle ages building. Viviers is a great place for a walking tour. Excellent host makes this place work. Located at the top of a steep hill, some travelers may have difficulty with the ramp.

Olivier is very nice and you feel like at home. Super nice the little patio where you see the mountains.

Super cute hotel, host so welcoming and fun. Lovely pool for the teenagers to have a dip. Really big rooms with great facilities. Amazing breakfast - fresh bread, croissants and local fruit.

This place is unique! It has an exciting history, charm, a welcoming and helpful host, the most beautiful view, and is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to melt into a French village.

Loved the ambiance of the old city. Enjoyed talking to the host and exploring his house and hearing his future plans. It was great staying next to the cathedral.
