Great service. Staff extremely helpful. Wonderful breakfast. You can order eggs any way you like. Good quality food and attention..The restaurant also serves lunch and dinner.. We had a late lunch when we arrived and found the food to be delicious.. A bit expensive, but worth. Front desk was extremely helpful with our travel needs and information. I could have hugged everyone of them. The whole staff has a lovely attitude and good spirit. Our room was quiet with the window closed,and had a nice view. Beds comfy, good shower with the hand hold option.

Everything was ok , but I would suggest extra hooks for towels and an extra trash basket in the room so as not to have to walk to the toilet every time we needed to dispose of something.

My experience matched the positive reviews already left on this site. Very good breakfast with minimal options, but each offering was of top quality and beautifully presented. The design throughout the hotel was beautiful and very uncluttered with an accent on maintaining the beautiful architectural lines and interior vistas of the original building. Very quiet. A room without a view would definitly detract from the pleasure of the stay. Pay the the nominal extra amount.

I've thought about it. Really, there was nothing I didn't like. However, I would recommend that the hotel print up a menu (or at least post it somewhere) of the breakfast options that are not on the continental buffet table: it wasn't obvious that the kitchen was staffed and ready to make hot options like egg dishes or hotcakes - which they were - nor was it ever clear to me over my lovely four day stay just what all the options were. What a first world problem!

The hotel is one of the loveliest properties I've stayed in - most anywhere in the world. It is palatial with a grand staircase leading to the slightly elevated next level - an ebony grand piano as the centerpiece with a cobalt stained glass ceiling. The rooms are immaculate, large, bed & bedding comfortable. My room had an immense (double picture window) view of the cathedral AND La Compania. The location is perfect - about 2 blocks from the zocalo & the heart of the city. The staff was helpful and gracious. Breakfast was a feast - served in a sunny dining hall. I would absolutely, definitely recommend this hotel if you're staying in the Puebla area. Be sure to take a tour to Cholula and Atlixco!

The old converted building that houses the building was beautifully restored. The location is excellent. Staff was friendly and attentive.

I cannot emphasize how plain and ill equipped this hotel is. Everything in the room is white and there is nothing on the walls. There are no drawers and limited table space for storage. The room has a large bed and one chair. The closet has four hangers. You have to request a hair dryer, because there is nowhere to store it. There are no towel racks and only one towel hook. If you love minimalism, this is your place.

The staff were wonderful. I’m intolerant of lactosa and so for breakfast ever morning the made me very tasty vegetables, which also means they could cater for vegans. It was very quiet. the location was excellent and it was nice that you can open a window.

It was a little strange that the first light switch would turn everything off including the tv and so you were in the dark to go to bed. The decor is a little sterile typical of new hotel designs but it was very comfortable.

The location, the decoration and ambience its wonderful, also the quality of the food served. it takes you to another place.

The a/c in the rooms needs to be up dated ( they are a little old and miss features of the new ones) and the pool should be improved and be covered or under ceiling in a closed space and not in an open one, because the city almost always has ashes from the volcano that end up in the pool, and in night time is windy and cold, so you cannot enjoy it.

Excellent breakfast and service. Very warm and friendly staff at the front desk. Beautifully maintained lobby. THe location can't be beat. Quiet yet central and easy walk to the Zocalo and other sites in the Centro Historico.

Our double room was a bit small/cramped. They didn't leave enough towels for the four of us. The pool on the rooftop was not open for most of the time we were there and is very small - not much bigger than a jacuzzi - so we didn't get to use it.

The service was first class. The hotel is one of the most beautiful and well-maintained boutique hotels we have ever seen (we have seen a few in Cartagena and other similar places), it has been renovated with great care and taste. Beautiful works of art throughout the hotel and even an art gallery near the lobby. The hotel made our experience in Puebla reach another level and we decided to stay one more night. Special thanks to the reception team and the gentleman who received us and delivered the car.

Beautiful hotel above an old palace (now art gallery, which you can look around). Rooms were clean and spacious, with a nice shower and the toiletries provided were lovely. Great location, walking distance to all the key sites in Puebla. Nice rooftop terrace. Excellent breakfast.

Would have been good to have coffee facilities in the room.

It felt a bit empty maybe beacause the decoration hasn't been finalised yet? Also, the included breakfast area was very tight and could't accomodate for several of the guests at the same time and we had to wait on both mornings. Later on the hotel mentioned that they original restauarnt was under construction and hence the smaller room, but that would have been good to understand the situation if it was mentioned upon arrival
