Beautiful location! Adorable rooms! Owner was very communicative in the lead up to our visit as I had a few questions. Very friendly staff on-site who gave us many recommendations for the rest of our journey to Stockholm. This would be the perfect place to disconnect for a few days in any season!

Truly there is nothing negative, The only thing I would say is i didn’t find the bed to be very comfortable but that could be personal choice. The bathroom was also small so I could see that being tough for an extended stay. May not be the same in all rooms.

One of the nicest places ever. The location is amazing, the hotel is a lovely old building. Room was small but cozy and clean. Food was great, they use a lot of local and fresh products, food was very tasteful and there were 3 alternatives for vegetarians. Dogs are welcome, which was really nice. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely come again!

Of course an old house is not equipped with huge bathrooms or other amenities, but we did not care or expect any, there was nothing we did not like.

We really loved the place more than expected. It was just an overnight stay on our way to Aland but we will defintely come back for a longer stay. The room was cosy, the whole property is made with taste and a big heart! Very nice breakfast and dinner in a kind of family environment. My partner asked for some veggie Dinner and without eye rolling or discussion she got a tasty meal as well. Nothing what we missed. Next time we will try the sauna and hot tub and maybe have a swim in the lake! The Place is like a photo calendar dream!

I loved the locations, the staff, the food,...nature everything! Lots of nature to explore and tourist sites to visit. The breakfast that was included was amazing. We also hosted a last-minute dinner for friends and family, +10 people. The experience was great, the employees were lovely and accommodating, and the food was amazing! A night to remember!

Smålandsgarden is a stunning place, situated right at a lake and with a very calm atmosphere. The room is decorated in a simple Scandinavian way. There's no TV set which somehow adds to the tranquillity though. Breakfast and dinner were both good, too. Everything at a reasonable price by Swedish standards. Staff has been very friendly.

The studio we booked was spacious , cosy and comfortable. Own terrace was luxury. The building itself is very picturesque. Free parking. Peaceful village. The shore of the lake next to the hotel meant possibility to swim. A positive surprise was that breakfast was included, contrary to what Booking.com informed when booking. Also restaurant would have been available. Good breakfast in a cozy space. Very friendly host. It is easy to recommend the hotel to other travelers.

The cottage we stayed at was very cute and clean with comfortable beds. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was beautiful right on the lake with a sauna, BBQ and rental kayaks all available on the property.

It was a little bit tight for the 4 of us when eating and cooking inside in the kitchen area, but if the weather is good then the outside eating area is very nice.

This picturesque hotel is a must-go when you drive through Sweden. The owners are the most warm-hearted, and the cabin in which we stayed, melted our hearts by the cozyness. The village is quite small, but when looking for a superb place to recharge yourself, visit Smålandsgården.

Very nice location next to lake and Gränna. Clean, peaceful and cosy room. Lovely breakfast. Friendful staff. Free local parking. Good beds and billows. It would have been also opportunity to swim - and even book the sauna.

Television to watch the news would have been nice

Nice waterside location and very service minded staff. 30 min from Jönköping and much more relaxing and cheaper than staying in Jönköping. There are no shops nearby. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was good, but a bit expensive.
