Room very well equipped, very much appreciated the small fridge and coffee and tea pot. The room was clean. Great choice of food for breakfast, great pancakes. Great location of the hotel close to the lake, shops and restaurants. Friendly and professional staff.

The hotel does not have its own parking, but offers parking for 125 kr/day in a nearby parking house. If you park in front of the hotel to drop off your luggage, you risk a fine if you leave your car there for a long time. We went for breakfast early in the morning, even so it was crowded. However, the breakfast room is large and it was no problem to find a free table. However, it was worse with the staff who did not keep up with replenishing the missing food. It would also be nice to divide the room into smaller sections somehow, it was quite noisy. Little water pressure in the shower.

Great location - really close to the station and restaurants: we visited the University and that was easy to get to as well. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable and the lake views were gorgeous! Breakfast was spectacular. The pub within the hotel was great and had a lovely traditional pub atmosphere with an amazing selection of craft beers and whiskeys.

The lake view rooms are on the road and rail line side so might be noisy for some. Ear plugs are provided and rooms are well glazed: it was not a particular issue for me but if you are a light sleeper, it may be a consideration as the trains do run quite constantly well into the night and from the early morning.

Clean and well maintained facilities. Superb breakfast options, very friendly and helpful staff. Good food in the Bishops Arms. Conveniently located for bus/coach connections to/from airport and other touristic attractions.

Room was quite small and very soft bed. Also, quite noisy until late in tbe square opposite. Regardless, we would return.

Beautiful facade in the best location in the city. The Bishop’s Arms, which is the pub on the first floor, is a big and beautiful. As warm and friendly as any pub we visited anywhere in Sweden.

The back rooms of the hotel, which you access by a walkway, feels a little cheesy compared to the rooms in the “main” part of the building, but the rooms themselves are fine and comfortable.

It is a lovely old building with character. Great location close to train station and town centre. Fantastic breakfast We always love to have a view over the lake as it changes constantly. The reception, breakfast and cleaning staff were all very nice and friendly. This was our third stay in 12 years. It never disappoints!

I can’t put anything.

The hotel is close to the lake, on a perfect spot near parks and lake channels. We have arrived with dog, and by this way there was no possibility to have lake view room, which is actually fine, due to the inner side of the building is really calm and quite. The room was large and we got for the dog drinking/feeding plates. The corridor is really wide and easy to access the rooms. Breakfast has variety for all of the people who has some kind of allergies: lactose, gluten, vegetarian, vegan etc.

Breakfast was upstairs due to a flood in ground floor restaurant. Perhaps not quite as good as a previous visit and no smoked salmon!

Could vaguely hear music coming from twin city across the road but my room was fortunately on the other side of hotel. It kept my son and family awake until 02.00!

We loved this hotel. The plus points were:- 1. Staff - excellent reception staff, over and above helpful 2. Soft beds - had the best night sleep 3. Warm room, radiator always on! 4. Breakfast - lovely fresh choice of breakfast buffet foods 5. Central location to shops, cafes, and the wonderful lake 6. Central to train and bus

There were a few minor points for improvement but they really didnt affect our stay. 1. Shower leaned to the left and couldnt seem to centralise it 2. Toilet, sometimes flush got stuck so had to give it a few goes to stop the water flow 3. Could do with more hangers in wardrobe and some drawer space for clothes 4. Some blankets or extra bedding The train track is right outside if you have a lake view so you can hear them but we liked the sound and so it didnt bother us at all

We were only here for a short stopover on a motorcycle tour; we arrived later and departed early, hence not much to say. Very happy with what we had. The location is fabulous and the area is beautiful. For a hotel in the centre of things, a short walk to shops bars and night life, this is a great choice.

Nothing was problematic.

The breakfast buffet is excellent with plenty of choices. The whole hotel has a nice interior, a good mix between practical use and still a design that fits with the historic building.

For the size of the hotel there should be another lift and with icons that explain the operation (the room card is needed to control the lift). The installed lamps are not all working - either remove it or make work please.
