I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in every aspect. The room was very clean, towels were changed daily, and the room was tidied up regularly. There was a kettle available so I could make tea and coffee. The hotel was quiet and peaceful. Although the breakfast didn’t quite suit my taste, it was very diverse. On a day when there was a power outage in Portugal, having a generator at the hotel literally saved our lives! We didn’t have to go without light or internet. Moreover, all restaurants and markets in Portalegre were closed that day, so I ended up with nothing to eat. Even though the hotel kitchen was closed due to the power cut, the receptionist kindly made me a toast! I’m truly grateful to them. All the staff were very friendly and sweet.

Actually, I liked everything. However, even though I had stated that I didn’t want anyone to enter my room or do any cleaning for one day, someone still entered. I don't think it was intentional — I hope it was simply due to a lack of communication.

Very well located hotel in the centre o Portalegre. Nice breakfast offering traditional and local products.

Small room and not so comfortable chair / desk, therefore not so suitable if you need to work remotely. All parking places around are paid and don’t accept anything else but coins… if you park long you need a wide supply of them!

Location and friendlyness, helpfull staff, parking they have area to park in front of hotel you just need to get a sign from the reception to put on the dashboard of your car. would recomend this hotel.

the bed is very hard, i paid extra for a over matress and the over matress was so thing that it did not make any diference. fortunatly our stay was only one night otherwise we would not be able to spend another night of disconfort.

The hotel is very well located, right at the city center. The staff was extremely nice, helpful and kind. The twin bedroom was large, the beds were comfy, the bathroom was great as well. I didn't eat much at breakfast but there was a large selection of hot & cold, savory & sweet foods and drinks.

Comfortable hotel in the center of Portalegre. Very warm and hospitable staff. They really make you feel at home, and go the extra mile to cater for all your needs! We got a big and cozy room, and really enjoyed the small balcony. Breakfast is good, with a nice selection of local pastries.

Situated right in the city center, this hotel offers a very good price-quality relation. Rooms are nicely decorated, beds are comfortable, breakfast is good... where else do you need?

Nothing remakable, but just to mention that parking is payed all around from Mom-Sat from 9am until 6pm.

A lovely stay in the perfect location

The breakfast was quite good with a lot of variety. There was even granola, which most hotels do not offer. My wife did mention that whole-wheat bread for toast would have been nice.

The bed had a plastic sheet under the main sheet. It is too thick and noisy when you move. Not necessary to be so thick

There was no parking at the hotel, although lots nearby but I had to get up early to put a new ticket on the car
