Amazing hotel with tonnes of character. Our room was quite a walk from reception and faced the busy main road, however the windows did an amazing job of cutting out noise. The pool was fantastic. We had hoped to be able to eat somewhere in the town but there wasn't anything so had to eat in the hotel (having told them we wouldn't) but they were able to prepare some nice salads. Safe storage for bicycles

A beautiful building in a great setting, albeit with the front / reception on an N road. We had a garden Room so no noise and a great view. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly with a fantastic kitchen and restaurant.

I think it was still early in the season, but the grounds had been left unmanaged and the outdoer tables weren't clean. That said I doubt they expected the sudden hot weekend we experienced. Maybe because of the Eco focus, but I was surprised for hotel to have a very limited Wine List (but it was good) and just one beer available.

Very old world charm with lovely polite and welcoming English speaking staff. Beautiful building with lots of character and felt very relaxed. Excellent stopping point on way back from Languedoc with an easy 4 hour run up to Caen the next day. Would recommend having the dinner at their restaurant - the food was superb and a great choice of wines - fabulous. Breakfast was all local organic produce but a little expensive.

There is a little bit of jaded charm about the rooms with a few fixtures and fittings needing maintenance, a rather old, small TV and it would have been nice to have coffee/tea making facilities in the room - this might be an issue for some guests. Access into the car park is quite tight so care needs to be taken but great to have on-site safe parking.

We were greeted warmly by helpful staff, in the hotel and in the restaurant. Our room was spacious and very comfortable, with a larger than average bed. The standards of cleanliness were very high. The food in the restaurant and breakfast was delicious and exceeded our expectations. The place was calm and quiet with beautiful outside space to explore

Ambience, room, gardens, exceptional outdoor pool, exceptional vegetarian food and great wine at the restaurant

Reception staff very difficult to find repeatedly on our arrival day. They seemed short staffed which let it down otherwise it would have been a top marks rating

Bright sunny room with gorgeous garden in historic inn. Delicious dinner on site. Wonderful staff making sure we had everything. Beautiful linen bedding.

Breakfast wasn’t well stocked- beverages and baked goods ran out before most guests arrived. Poor internet.

Beautiful old building, friendly staff, delicious dinner in the restaurant and a great self-service breakfast. We stopped off for one night on our way south and will make a point of coming here again.

Nothing to dislike!
