The staff were friendly, helpful and attentive to our needs. Our room was clean and spacious and had a perfect size shower room. The air conditioning and WIFI in our room worked very well. Breakfast was a continental type with plenty of food to eat. The hotel has private parking. There are a supermarket, and a delicious restaurant called La Mangoune within 5 minutes’ walk from the hotel. This was our second stay in this hotel, and we definitely will stay again whenever we are in the area.

The cold-water pressure was very low at the sink faucet and stayed like that during the two nights that we stayed. We informed the front desk staff, and he said that it would take a couple of days for the problem to be fixed.

Really helpful night receptionist. I arrived at about midnight and the hotel car park was full except for "Disabled" spaces. I parked on the road about 100m away, the nearest U could find. Seeing me limping with a walking stick, (I am awaiting a replacement hip operation)the receptionist told me to park in one of these spaces, next to the hotel entrance. It was a kindly and much appreciated gesture especially the next morning when it saved me a painful walk. Room was spacious and clean. Excellent value.

This was our second stay in this hotel, and we definitely will stay again whenever we are in the area.

We had a triple room and there was plenty of space for us all. It was clean and tidy. It was quite and comfortable as well. WiFi worked well. The young man on reception when we arrived was very welcoming and friendly. The shower was a good size with plenty of hot water. The restaurant next door (La Mangoune), despite appearances from the outside, was very good, and there’s also a small Carrefour about 150m away. Plenty of onsite and free parking.

The towels in the bathroom were on the small side.

A very welcoming person at check-in who gave us good information on breakfast timings, security at night and the nearby restaurant which is dog-friendly (we travel with two small/medium sized dogs. The beds were very comfortable and a good choice for breakfast. The hotel is near the motorway for onward travel north/south. We also discovered a nearby bakery and well stocked supermarket. There was a good walking area for the dogs very close by despite winter rain!

Rooms were a bit too warm for us, though the windows do open. I travel with ear plugs and used them to block out the bathroom extractor fan which runs permanently.

The Hotel appeared quite new, it was in a great location. Lovely air conditioning when you walk in from 38 degrees outside. Reception staff was extremely helpful, very friendly. Our room was fantastic, exceptionally large bed, great pillows, best night sleep we’ve had in ages. Very quiet and great air con. Buffer breakfast had a great choice, catering for everyone, the food was regularly topped up and the staff were amazing, friendly and helpful.

Location was the most important thing for me. I could walk to Poitiers hospital in less than 15 minutes. Room had a great view and was really clean. Great shower and massive space for me. Nice little desk for me to write hotel reviews on while watching the traffic and open land beyond. Two decent restaurants within a couple of minutes walk and there was a reduction in price if you showed your bill from the hotel.

Breakfast could have been a little more exciting. Needed more fruit than just apples and maybe something hot. Can’t think of anything else negative.

Facilities were good and the staff helpful. Room was spacious and clean. Suited us for an overnight stop. Good choice of food for breakfast. Would use this chain of hotels again. Free parking A couple of restaurants nearby to save driving into the town centre.

A bit far out from the centre of Poitiers.

The staff were excellent. In particular the young man who booked us in spoke English extremely well. He was also helpful in telling us how to get to the centre of Poitiers by bus. The location was ideal for going in by bus and it meant we could just leave the car at the hotel.

Everything was good.

The room was excellent,very clean and comfortable,breakfast was excellent,i must mention the person on reception,Eddy,he was so helpful and very friendly.It is the first time we have stayed at this Ace Hotel,and we will stay here again.Also the young lady in the morning reception,had the same excellent attitude as Eddy.They are a credit to your company
