The hotel and my room were very good. It was maybe a 7-minute walk from the train station, and close to some restaurants. Quiet at night. The receptionist who checked me in was efficient and helpful and spoke excellent English. My room was simple, but clean and comfortable. Linen and towels were good quality. Breakfast was fine, quite simple, but there was enough variety of continental cheese, meats, cereals etc. Very good service from start to finish.

Staff were welcoming and the location was perfect for the 4 nights I was there, right next to railway station..10 minutes walk and you're in central Poitiers..Hotel was what I wanted but coffee making facilities for first thing would have been good but breakfast was sufficient.

Nothing..It was what I was expecting and I would recommend for anyone looking to visit Poitiers

The hotel is exactly next to the train station for a 2 minutes walk. You can check-in early and check-out late. The room is well equipped, tidy and nice. Wifi is working well.

By the train station there are some dangerous looking people, so it doesn't feel very safe by the area of the hotel. But the hotel itself is absolutely fine.

Generally good value if you've booked in advance. Next door to rail/bus stations

To open the front door you have to press a bell and wait for the staff to open it. I had to wait a couple of minutes because the staff were busy elsewhere. Not sure why this was necessary given that at other IBIS Budget hotels you can just walk in.

an excellently designed layout of the room - enough space, and spaces for needed things for a stay. Someone clearly thought out how to maximize while they minimalized! Bravo!

This is from an American perspective - we tend to like stronger air conditioning. But I do understand that this is not the norm here.

Very helpful staff. Room is perfect, functional and spacious enough, especially for 1 person. Good breakfast, lots of choices. Location is ideal for travellers: next to train and bus station and the highway.

Location seems close to the city centre, but that is way higher. You have to take an endless flight of (colourfully painted!) stairs to get to the upper city.

Affordable, very friendly receptionist man and lovely room service lady. Modern hotel. Modest but clean and safe.

The doors to the bathroom are not fully closed, with a gap on the bottom, not good for provacy.

This is a very basic , low cost lodging with small room and no extra frills. But it is quiet and clean and right next to train station. It met our needs well and very reasonable price.

Had to pay cash as they couldn’t seem to take my credit card even though my credit card had had no issues for few weeks before while traveling around Europe.

The check-in was great. We were met by a very friendly young man Javier who spoke english , spanish, and of course french.He gave us the room earlier than expected and gave advise on our visit to Poitiers. The room was small but clean. The bed was confortable. The location was very convenient close to the train station.

All the receptionists were really kind and helpful, especially the Spanish one who also recommended us some monuments and interesting places in Poitiers. The double-bed room was comfortable and clean, with everything you need for a short stay. The shower was big for an individual one and it was good that it was separated from the w.c. I could work and rest because the room is quiet. As for the breakfast, the buffet is varied. The hotel is within walking distance from the city center, which is very convenient ;)

Instead of a stool, I would suggest to equip the table with a chair in order to work/study in the room. However, the room has everything you need for a short stay.
