Location was right in the city center. Nice view on the old square of Poitiers. Beautiful building from the outside with 'posh' appearance at first glance. Room was OK, but don't expect too much for this price.. Lot of places to eat/drink in walking distance. Parking on the back of the hotel was nice but the roof was low (extra pay).

Smallest elevator we have ever seen.. (we put the suitcases in and took the stairs ourselves, because it was too small for us). Shower was broken. Parking closes at 10pm and opens at 8 am.

This is the 4th time I have stayed here... Twice as a family of 4 and twice as a couple. Location is amazing... And parking is available at a small cost.. which you will be thankful for in Poitiers. The rooms are comfortable, and clean, and they give you two pillows.... My last three stays had only one really thin pillow....

There are a few things that you could grumble about. However, price? No.. Location? No. Value for money? No. An earlier reviewer commented that they were so disappointed that they checked into The Best Western..... What where they expecting?' at the price offered... ? The Best Western is not in the main town square. The Chapon is and some rooms have balconies that offer you views over the main square of Poitiers...

Location fantastic in the pretty square with all the amenities. Good sized room. Secure parking..Dog friendly. Good value for money.

Shower pressure is a little low .

Location and parking are fantastic, located on the square next to the Marie, handy for investigating Poitiers.

Rooms are getting tired, air con would be a major improvement, as a fan just pushes warm air around.

We were able to park in the private lot. The host accommodated our request to return later than his usual time. Terrific view of the huge square with the Hotel de Ville. Large windows. Fluffy towels

There were no light bulbs in the light above the bathroom mirror.

Superfriendly staff! Flexible and helpful. Hotel is old school, 'outdated', which we like 🙂, but clean. Location in heart of city centre, with own, cheap, car park. Restaurants shops few minutes walk every direction. Would book again visiting Poitiers.

Shower could do with some upgrade! Shower gel is cheap and useless. The triple room was in fact a double and a single bed, not 3 singles as I expected.

This is my 4th stay at Chapon Fin and, is my hotel of choice, when staying in Poitiers. It is clean with friendly staff and parking, and the location is perfect, being situated in the town square, close to restaurants, shops and bars.
