The stands were excellent- we met Alexandra and Paco the chef. Alexandra was so welcoming and pleasant but also professional and checked us in in no time. We wanted to eat in and the menu was great but I am vegan and there was nothing for me. Alexandra asked Paco if he could do something for me. Of course - he said - and I had a three course meal that was so tasty - I was and am so thankful as I don’t always meet veganism with kindness in France. I was so grateful. Thank you both for making our stay so relaxing.

The hotel is tired but that’s not a criticism- it was clean and the bedroom was comfortable and clean.

The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming, The room was clean and well prepared as well as being comfortably warm. Although the hotel is located at a busy road junction the room on the second floor was quiet. A huge hypermarche is located close to the hotel and fuel can be purchased there at competitive prices. The hotel restaurant does not operate at weekends but a Chinese buffet style restaurant is only a five minute walk away with excellent food and very reasonably priced. The breakfast at the hotel had great variety and was excellent value that could cater for all tastes.

It would have been better for the hotel restaurant to be open to provide meals at weekends. Although there is an alternative restaurant nearby there is a very poor footpath beside a busy road and it is potentially dangerous particularly to make this walk in pouring rain at night. I was travelling by motorcycle so was left with no alternative than to make this rather risky trip on foot.

The staff were very helpful, especially Alexandra who assisted us on our arrival and Gaetan who was helpful on our departure. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. The location was ideal for a stop over heading North. There are plenty of local shops.

Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a variety of food and drinks and was good value. The room was satisfactory and clean and the bed was comfortable. Free parking was a bonus

The room would have been better with air-conditioning. There was a fan which was just about adequate on a very warm night. The restaurant was not open for dinner on the date of our arrival but the receptionist was very helpful in recommending local restaurants. The signage for the hotel was not really visible from the road access to the car park so it was a little confusing on first arrival.

Location - absolutely perfect for a stop over on the way back to Calais. The hotel is tired but really good value for money, on site parking, bar, restaurant and really helpful staff…we ate at the hotel on this trip and the food was basic but really nice, sat outside with a cold beer whilst chatting to other guests - the positives really out way the negatives so not even going to mention those.

You get what you pay for and this hotel exceeds that.

Location was perfect for our drive from UK to Costa del Sol, not far from the motorway exit. Carpark wasn't locked/secure, but we felt that our car was safe there. Rooms were compact, clean, comfortable and had everything we needed (kettle, tea & decaf coffee, 2 milk cups, soap & shower gel). We asked for a quiet room which is what we got. This hotel is pet friendly and was fine for our dogs. There is a very small grass area in front and behind the hotel to give the dogs a comfort break. Reception is not 24hr but they give clear instructions on how to access your room if you'll be arriving out of hours. For the price we felt this hotel was great value and would stay there again.

Liked that it had a kettle in the room; that it had a proper key for the room; that they asked if you wanted dinner/breakfast; really comfortable bed; cosy duvet; dog friendly; fab dog friendly Italian restaurant across the road. Also enough free parking right outside the door & great location for an overnight.

A bit mucky around the window frame but at least the window opened to let air in, unlike our previous night’s accommodation!

Good shower facilities. Comfortable beds. Nice breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant area for breakfast was very clean and tidy. I have to repeat again how very nice the staff were, they made you feel genuinely welcome.

Decor was tired and dated. Seating area outside was a bit scruffy. Plant tubs would have benefitted from some plants which were alive. However for the price that I paid I should not really complain. It was only an overnight stop.

This hotel is much nicer on the inside than it looks from the outside. Nice rooms with good beds and they are even fairly cosy. Bathroom is small but fine. You can make free coffee and tea in the room. The breakfast was great, usually hotel buffets aren't really worth their money, but there it surely is, great quality and variety of products, quite a few organic, and things you don't see every day such as grade a maple syrup, so breakfast was much better than expected.

They might need to clean the air vents a bit.

Convenient (with car) for both town centre and airport. Excellent reception staff.

The lack of air conditioning (not a complaint: it was clear from the description) required an open window during a very warm night. Given the position next to the ring road and a busy junction ( also clear from the description), a good night's sleep was impossible.
