We loved everything. Especially the price as it was not expensive for us to stay there. The hotel has a breakfast option. (But we did not try a breakfast there, as we wanted to explore every morning a different boulangerie and patisserie.)The customer service was exceptional. The staff was very friendly and always helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. The location was perfect. We were walking to the medieval city centre all the time. The hotel is practically in the city centre. The airport is so close to the city centre that we walked from and to it, and it took us only 38 minutes. What an adventure! To be able to walk from the airport to the city centre. We really enjoyed that. We enjoyed Poitiers and we will be back.

Location is excellent, three minute walk from rail and bus stations. I drove because SNCF cancelled my train without notice. Given the age of the hotel and its price I expected something run down and possibly a little shabby. Nothing could be further from the truth. Obviously refurbished not too long ago. Spotlessly clean. Shower cubicle immaculate. Radiator heating adjustable by guests. Breakfast just under 10 euros extra is value for money and wholly adequate. Zero reason to pay more for an hotel and a good base from which to explore the city. The (female) receptionist on duty on Saturday morning didn't blink an eyelid when I asked if she would charge my phone. When I returned from packing my case, she reminded me not to forget the phone before i'd said a word. . .

It would be a good idea to have the word Originals on the outside of the building. I needed to ask a taxi driver outside the station where the hotel was!!!!

Basic but very well maintained hotel. Handy location across the street from the train station. A 10 minute walk to the beautiful Republique Square where there are great restaurants. Super clean rooms and a nice view with brand new bathrooms (great water pressure!) Lovely firm comfortable King size bed and soft pillows. Customer service was polite & helpful and the hotel is very quiet even though it’s in a busy location. A lift available which is great for heavy luggage. Would definitely stay here again.

Everything was great for my needs.

I was not expecting much for a 2 star at such a cheap price but it was excellent and fitted our needs very well. Room was ok size and you could move the beds. Bathroom had bath and towels were good. Excellent location next to old city wall. Breakfast was 9 euros and was very nice. Good choice and quality products.

Noise from traffic outside. The reception staff had to clear breakfast as well as be on the reception which was too much for one person. You rang the bell to get in and they were too busy in the kitchen to hear you. Had to wait outside until a guest let us in. No drop off outside on a main road so beeped at when loading car.

This place has everything you need for an economy hotel. The location is perfect for exploring the town and for immedite proximity to the train station for onward travel. The rooms are modern, comfortable and clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I opted for the continental breakfast that set me up nicely for my meanderings around the town. If you are a smoker/vaper there is even an off-street outside espace fumeurs. Highly recommended.

Nothing, a bit hard to find..you have to look for the continental when looking for the hotel when you are in the street otherwise you might pass in front of it without knowing it is actually your hotel.

The room was clean, modern, quiet and comfortable. The location was perfect for getting to the station early in the morning as well as being able to walk up to the center of Poitiers for dinner the night before.

The breakfast was disappointing for 9 euro per person. Some toast, a few pastries and some slices of meat and cheese on a plate in the fridge didn’t seem to justify the cost. If you need to get 9 euro from breakfast, I would include it in the cost of the room and then make breakfast “complementary”.

The location is excellent for the train station. There’s plenty to choose in terms of restaurants nearby. Clean room, good shower.

The room was a little cold and whatever I tried didn’t work. It is noisy due to the proximity to the station.

Staff were friendly and helpful. It’s close to the train station and car hire places. Short walk up the steps to the city centre. Room was clean and comfortable enough.

If you’re coming in hot weather, be aware it doesn’t have AC. There was a desk fan in the room and it’s possible to open the window. It wasn’t very hot when we were there but got quite stuffy in the room.

Good, clean, pleasant room, nice clean & modern bathroom, Functional. Situated in a side road ( quiet) rght across the railway station at the bottom of some stairs which lead to beautiful Poitiers city centre. No kettle in room.
