My gf and I have stayed at The Bear on multiple occasions to visit her family and each time we are blown away at how incredibly friendly and helpful the staff is to us. They go out of their way to make your stay great and have always helped us keep luggage there safely as we travelled to other parts of Taiwan. Invaluable to us so that we can go to other areas without having to take massive amounts of luggage with total peace of mind that all is 100% safely looked after. Great complimentary breakfast and wonderful location in Sanxia with easy access to all the key places we need to go to by foot. Thank you all again till next year...Best Jane and Eric

We have stayed in The Bear Hotel on multiple occasions over the years and it is a bit of a home away from home for us. The hands down best aspect of the place is the amazing staff! They are always so helpful and go out of their way to make our stay as best as possible. Location is great especially with 7-11 next door and laundry facilities across the street. We will for sure return year over year.

Lovely experience staying here for a short trip. The room was spacious and even had a couch and pantry counter! Breakfast was really good with a variety of food - Taiwanese and continental. Worth the money definitely. And it was just a short walk away from convenience stores.

Friendly and very helpful staff. Room was large and comfy, with wacky (fun) bear decorations! A great location- nice and quiet but in the heart of the Sanxia district, and close to mountain walks

Spacious twin room for 2 pax even came with a sofa and coffee table. Windows were working so ventilation was good. Generally very clean. Breakfast was superb with both local and western options. All in all good value!!!

Room is very big, bed was comfortable, fridge kept drinks super cold, I loved the couch in the room, shower had hot water and good pressure, breakfast was good (buffet style),

Only one elevator so if it's crowded it takes time to get to your level.

The Hotel is near to alot of amenities. You don't have to worry about no food or anything as you have 7 Eleven and Family Mart just next to the hotel. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful.

Wifi connection is very bad especially when trying to work and the Wifi keep got disconnected. The location is too far away from the city so you have to be prepared to take about 30-45 mins drive depending on the jam if you wish to go to town.

New. Clean. Cost effective.

The cleaning staff didn’t lower their working sound. As late check-out at 12 PM for our itinerary, I constantly heard a lot of scratching noise from moving furniture next door in the late morning. Rest is very good for the price.

Hot spring is in service, not available for use. Bathroom tissue is not allowed to flush in the toilet.
