Great breakfast (especially the fresh bread). Price was really good. The location overlooking the city and surrounding area is very beautiful.

There was only half a curtain and my room was ground floor. People passing by could easily look into my room. For the nighttime i was able to put down shutters. Otherwise the room was quite small, but for the price its okay.

It apparently has the potential of being a five star grand hotel however, it is also apparently this hotel is lacking of maintenance. Non prepared extra bed, Non-working hair drier, linking shower cabin, those small details just lower the customer experience a lot. Make a change, get into the positive feedback loop.

Definitely has the potential to become a 5 star hotel. The main building is like a palace. Laying down by the side of the pond or play with the kid in the forest is outstanding. Picnic is also possible, even bbq place is well prepared.

Time to upgrade the shower

Nicely situated above town. About 25 min walk to the old town center. Perfectly situated for hiking and MTB rides. Visited Frankfurt, Würzburg, Aschafenburg, Miltenberg and Karlstadt which were all within a good hours drive. It was a very hot week during our stay, so we enjoyed the swimming lake and was thankful for the spacious airconditioned room.

WIFI a bit unstable. Many guests with bicycles including ourself. Would have been good with a garage to leave bicycle in, instead of locked to a fence outside, or left on the car.

Absolutely fantastic! It's a wonderful, magical part of Germany, nestled in a forest with a fantastic play area indoor and outdoor for kids, in a fairytale like town. Makes for wonderful forest walks, food was great, the atmosphere wonderful, staff, room, everything amazing. Will definitely return here!

Shout out to the barista at the restaurant, I got cold and was desperate for a tea, however it was late out of working hours of restaurant, but the man, the legend GOT ME TEA!!

Beautiful old historical property in the forest with lots of hiking trails nearby and nice clean rooms! Cedric at reception was so kind and helpful!!

We stayed for one night on our car trip. The surroundings where beautiful, in a mountain forest. The hotel restaurant offered a very good snitzel dinner.

We had a room connecting to another one with a door, the door was locked but not soundproof at all, we could literally hear the neighbours, even though they weren't noisy. As the hotel was not fully booked, it would have been easy to keep 1 room in between.

The location is great. The hotel is beautiful and stylish with friendly staff. The food was very nice.

Everything was great.

The facilities, rooms and breakfast are excellent. The staff nicely accommodated our late check in without issue.
