Great staff, great location.

Our 3rd stay. A shame that the natural white sand beaches have had to give way to rock walls to protect the resort from the effects of climate change. Unfortunately remediation work was still in progress when we stayed this time. The resort should have indicated this and provided a greater discount for the period of the work. We look forward to the work being completed and the resort returning to the great place it can be.

Beautiful spot with easy access to the sea and pool. Stayed in a fale which was very comfortable - no air conditioning so very thankful for the electric fan. Bathroom/shower at the back was no issue at all, complimentary toiletries a nice touch. Food here is very good

Staff didn't seem to clean decking areas very often, often bottles/cans left from night before even by lunchtime the next day. Could have cleaned the bottom of the pool more, seemed to be stones/debris at the bottom.

Food could of been better, pretty average

The euro fale was comfortable and had a fantastic view to the ocean. Was great having the lockable bathroom attached. Snorkelling was great - swimming with turtles in the ocean is wonderful. A very low-pressure holiday - exactly what we wanted. I've seen some bad reviews of this place recently especially on TripAdvisor, but I really can't understand them and wonder what some people expect. For us it was just right. Our 4th visit to Savaii and first time at Stephensons, would happily return.

The food was a little repetitive. A shame there wasn't more fish available, but our last night there we had fresh snapper cooked perfectly, a great meal to finish on.

Better food and pillows

After an almost 3 year hiatus, Samoa has reopened its borders and so the hotels and accomodations are starting to get back on their feet. However I can assure you that our time in Stevensons couldn't be lovelier. The rooms are super comfortable (with an amazing AC which is crucial for that warm weather!!). The staff couldn't be nicer and did their absolute best to make us feel like at home. Andrea, the manager is incredible! Food from the bar was great as well as the cocktails!

Service was great, place is very run down but comfortable, staying in a fale is like staying in one of the samoa fale as a local, only you have a pool and a bar in the vicinity. Needs more attention from Maitenance staff

Public toilets need to be regularly checked, a sign going down to the beach from the pool saying CAUTION last step very slippery. The cats meowing when trying to sleep, a Low light for steps in the fale, too dark my father fell when trying to shoo the cat.

Staff were very helpful sorting out an issue we had with the power in the beach fale & offered an upgrade. Towels & linen were amazingly soft & the beds were very comfortable. Villas were right on the beach with access steps to the beach for that morning swim.

A little tired & run down. Could use some tlc. Beach fale were completely open (except for the lockable bathroom) with very little lighting on the paths at night.

Excellent swimming and snorkelling. Also kayaks were provided at no cost. A good variety breakfast provided each day

I didn’t like the negative reviews this place received. It nearly put me off booking and l am so glad l stayed here. Sure there were a few broken tiles etc but this did not affect my stay in any way. In fact l enjoyed my time here better than the 5 star hotel l stayed at in Apia

Staying in a beach fale was a unique experience that I wanted to try and Stevensons fulfilled my wishes. Live entertainment, pool facilities, traditional Somoan decorations all helped to create an authentic atmosphere.

Had troubles finding PowerPoint, clumsy fridge arrangement, toilet seat lid fell off. Things placed on the window sill in the shower kept falling off. Staff could show guest through accommodation and explain a few things like how to use the fly net, where the power points are and so one. say the correct way to use the fly nets and maybe talk
