Great location, friendly staff, cozy athmosphere. Beach is safe and beautiful, we saw many turtles and corals. Samoan food was great when available. Filtered tap water was a wonderful thing and good for environment when don’t need to buy plastic bottles!

Snorkeling gear they offer to use is very limited so recommending to take your own. Many of the food options in restaurant’s menu were not available, especially local foods which was quite unfortunate for us as we wanted to have Samoan food once we are in Samoa. For example, the staff replaced some local ingredients with another (not local) ones without asking.

A few technical glitches but tolerable

Savai'i Lagoon was an absolute treasure. The location is stunning, set in an idyllic lagoon perfect for kayaking filled with fish. The food was incredible—we especially loved the breakfast and were fortunate to enjoy the BBQ buffet, which featured some of the finest Samoan cuisine. The hospitality of the owners and staff was exceptional, as they effortlessly accommodated our family group of 20 and made us feel genuinely welcome. Experiencing the Po Fia Fia added a special cultural touch to our stay. They always went out of their way to assist us with anything we needed. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and spacious, and the shower was incredible. Amazing Samoan hospitality, fa'afetai lava.

Nothing-everything was perfect

The location was perfect and has the most amazing views. Great access to the water and very swimmable for kids.

Through no fault of the property but as we have been here in the wet season hard to sleep at might woth the strong winds battling the trees but you'd get that anywhere along the waterfront. Had a meal at the restaurant and personally (and this is my personal opinion) I wasn't fond of the meal. Have eaten here before and this time wasn't as good as I remembered the last to be.

Beautiful location, right on the beach! Stunning to wake up to and have your breakfast, looking out at the stunning, clear water. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The staff were so friendly, Robyn, one of the owners comes around each morning at brekkie to check in, see if you have any questions which is such a lovely touch! She was very helpful with information and booking us on the Koko tour as well (which I highly recommend also).

Beautiful South Sea lagoon with lovely sandy beach and unspoilt setting. Very nice breakfast with choice of local fruit, cereal, toast, tea coffee , eggs etc. Very good relaxed restaurant with excellent food and drinks with helpful Samoan staff. Management talked to customers to check everything was Ok.

No TV and patchy WIFI connection in paradise. I can do without TV, but needed WIFI connection. Manager arranged a connection via their office.

The food was delicious, by far the best we had while travelling for 2 weeks in Fiji and Samoa. The room had a beautiful view of the lagoon, very spacious and clean and no bugs! Even in the outdoor bathroom, it was still fully enclosed in fly screen. The new air con worked very well! The staff and owners were very professional and helpful and assisted to organise transfers and tours. The lagoon was perfect for snorkeling and swimming with our toddler. The glass bottom boat tour straight from the resort was also excellent. We'll be back!

Beautiful location with sunset views. Waters edge restaurant served beautiful meals, and great coffee. Charming staff. Small menu changed daily. Freshly sourced local food fruit fish beef and vegetables. Good cocktails and NZ wine served. Right on the beach. Under the palm trees.

Uncomfortable bed. Constant noise from staff music from early in the day and nowhere peaceful to sit. Could hear the thud of the music from the furtherest sun loungers.

The location is incredible. Also very safe for kids - the private lagoon on your doorstep is consistently shallow. Food was delicious and the hosts Robyn and Grant really looked after us, organising to re-schedule the po fia fia night for our large family group.

We have been used to boiling our water for safe drinking - the jug was dirty inside, and the property didn’t offer bottled water. Some of our family got sore tummies.

Absolutely loved our time spent in Savaii, and this came in credit to our stay at Savaai Lagoon. The location was absolutely beautiful, alongside the options to explore this further. There were activities outside of the resort nearby also. The staff were fantastic, from the transfers to and from the ferry filled with conversation and knowledge of the beautiful island, to the staff on site in the restaurant, maintenance and housekeeping. I cannot credit the wonderful chefs enough, for the amazing food and fresh daily menu's - the food we had at the Barefoot restaurant was the best of our trip! Facilities were also fantastic - the fale's were very homely and big with all that was needed.
