The staff were super friendly and professional and got our room ready even though we had arrived early for check in! It was our anniversary while we were there as well and they even took the trouble of leaving us some celebratory cakes! A very nice touch! This hotel is part of a large chain but it was better than we expected and was very well run with decent room (with heating!), a good breakfast and a nice restaurant too. It's obviously geared up predominantly for tour groups headed for the Colca Canyon but it's still a nice place, the grounds are really well kept and it had a nice friendly atmosphere. Like most people we only stayed one night on our way back to Arequipa but it was a good choice for us!

Colca Canyon is visited by adventurers, hikers, and nature enthusiasts. Casa Andina fits great with this group. Bungalows in a treed setting with views of high mountains. Immaculate facility. Luisa at the front desk is welcoming and very helpful. Breakfast very good. Trout ceviche excellent. 3 person Andean band for an hour or so each evening. Little town of Chivay clean and fairly friendly.

The walls are thin. But after hiking at over 12,000 feet, not much noise at night.

Charming hotel. The room are in a beautiful and relaxing garden. Beds were comfortable The staff was lovely. Paola at the front desk and Oscar at the restaurant were so nice and helpful. Food at the restaurant was very good as well as the buffet breakfast.

Walls are thin so you can hear your neighbors or people outside your room but it doesn’t last long as everyone goes to bed early being exhausted by Colca Canyon excursions!

- very cute hotel with different bungalos, curated to details - staff extremely friendly and available - possibility to have massages thanks to spa inside the hotel - breakfast good, with good times to get it in the early morning

- a bit far from Chivay main plaza, within walking distance but with no so good surroundings - the restaurant inside the hotel had a small menu, with few choices and a bit expensive (overall it was ok but we hoped better)

It’s a nice little property. The buffet breakfast was impressive. The room was standard but comfortable. The heating was not very efficient, but there were plenty of blankets. It was helpful to find that there is an ATM machine in the lobby. It met our needs for the one night we were in Chivay.

Heating in the room was not very effective

Very nice customer service and the bed was huge/so comfortable. The fireplace was wonderful and the Coca tea was surprisingly delicious. Breakfast was superb.

At the check out the reception tried to charge for the water bottles in the room. There was no notice or indicator in the room that these were chargeable so we didn't pay.

Very lovely little units in a lovely garden. Comfy and cozy beds. Heater invaluable.

Nothing to do with hotel but the cold and altitude was a definite change from Arequipa. Really nothing in Chivay except gateway to tours. Water went off for a few hours across whole village. Scrambled eggs not warm.

Very good heating system, which is essential in Chivay in July, as the temperature in the night is close to 0°C. Really comfortable bed.

Wi-fi not available in the room but only in the common area. Considering the price, I would have expetected a better breakfast. Same for the restaurant, it's really pleasant to have dinner inside the hotel next to the fireplace without exiting in the cold Chivay, but considering the cost I would expect something better in terms of choice and quality.

Lay out of the hotel with many cabins. Early breakfast possible.

Each cabin has an outside light. The curtains did not block any lights. Only for show. We expected the lights to be switched off or dimmed. Regrettably not. Was a spoiler.

It is a small village within the village of Chivay. Very nice rooms/ bungalows. The restaurant is very good and convenient if you are here for a short stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful
