We had an amazing 8-day stay at this wonderful hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The facilities were excellent, well-maintained, and catered to all our needs. Our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, adding to the overall enjoyment of our trip. We truly loved our time at Avani and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic stay!

First, the shower in our bathroom had only a partial glass divider and no door, so using the rainshower resulted in water splashing all over the floor. A full enclosure would help keep the bathroom dry. Second, the coffee at the breakfast buffet didn’t meet my taste ( there is a machine and a booth with Thai traditional coffee)—it was unfortunately undrinkable. I ended up buying a proper cup every morning from the hotel’s coffee shop, which was a bit inconvenient.

the staff were courteous, helpful and personable. The breakfast was excellent with a wide choice. I liked that the staff only asked my room number the first day I had breakfast. After that, they remembered me. I stayed for several days and often dined alone in the large restaurant serving Thai cuisine. The staff were always attentive and good-natured.

As I don't have a car, perhaps I should have stayed at a hotel in the town rather than on the outskirts of the town. But that is not a criticism of the hotel. I knew the location when I made the booking. The mojito I had by the pool was somewhat lacking in rum. I'm fussy about cocktails. In my opinion, they should be well-constructed and have a kick.

The Staff was excellent, super polite and helpful as always. Room as always was very clean and I did forget my toothbrush but one was provided. Overall my stay was outstanding except for the food.

We went to the London Inn for a nice casual evening and ordered my usual American style beef burger. Big Mistake.... It was so overcooked that I had trouble even trying to cut it with a knife, that hard. I don't know why but other than the Chinese Restaurant the main dining Room and the London Inn really need a competent chef. Ill stay with the Chinese Restaurant from here out. Our last stay we encountered a bad meal in the Main Dining room, Not good. Breakfast was only Okay but still missing bacon that we used to get before Covid ruined everyone's lives. Please bring back good old smoked bacon, please.

Convenient location, good ambience, public spaces tastefully designed and furnished

Car parking close to the hotel congested leaving a long walk back to the hotel entrance. A closer secondary entrance would be desirable. We did not eat in the on site restaurant but on arrival took coffee and croissants in the lobby. Coffee was okay but croissants dried up / stale / inedible. Ordered breakfast in the room. All four fried eggs were only half cooked leaving yokes swimming in clear liquid Albumen (egg white). Though a common fault I do not expect this from a quality hotel kitchen. Unacceptable health risk. What made this worse there was no apology and no offer to replace the breakfast. Just offered to cancel the bill for this. We were leaving the hotel early on our travels so left the hotel hungry

Although the breakfast has lots of choices I was a bit disappointed with the egg station choices…. Omelette was amazing and hot but pan fried egg was slightly undercooked to my liking but it was still tasty, also eggs Benedict was served on a slice of bread and hollndaise sauce was cold and the bacon also overlooked so therefore too crispy and was also stone cold. But all in all the breakfast choices available are amazing.

Pretty hotel! We just wanted a hotel break where we stayed by the pool all weekend. The five restaurants in the hotel meant that we could do that without getting bored. The dimsum buffet is especially fantastic. The massage at the spa was great. The room was a decent size, comfy beds, view of the city. The pool had some bouncy castle toys which was fun. The in house shampoo and conditioner were such good quality I ended up ordering myself some.

The breakfast was a little dull, lots of rice and noodles and not much else but I got the sense the hotel caters more to Asian clientele vs the Pullman where there were more westerners staying. The area around the hotel is kind of boring, nothing walkable- you would need to get taxis to go into the town center. It's silly but if you're not steady on your feet be careful in the bathroom as once wet, the floor tiles are extremely slippery - we had to put pool towels down on the floor to stop us skidding.

Facilities

I requested in advance an extra bed in the room, the request was accepted in advance but It was not ready upon Arrival so we had to wait after checkin untill they fixed the room adding an extra bed...this should be ready in advance guys, dont let customers wait to fix request we already asked and were accepted by you. Another point is the TV in the room IS not smart TV and It is old and too small!! Another point is we had lunch by the swimming pool and they took too long time to serve my beer. I dont know why the pool bar dont serve beer directly the waiters had to go somewhere else faraway and come back with the drinks...and beer was not cold finally.

Clean & spacious room (quiet except the pool party night which the noise was up to 11 pm--but they announced ahead), the smiling & efficient staff, big lobby with plenty of comfortable seats, and the good gym (not big but very adequate). The breakfast looked adequate although I didn't take it because of my IF. And, the swimming pool looked very fine too--big, clean and well-equipped shower/locker rooms underground.

Two main cons: the location (although somewhat central and very quiet but very far from local restaurants and convenience stores--you need a car or a motorbike) and the price of everything (a half-an-hour facial massage was (after discount) B850, pastry/cake in the small bakery in front). Also, the bathroom (with a big glass see-through window on one side--good for young love couples) was very clean and modern but the floor could be quite slippery when wet (especially when after a shower as there was no shower curtain or glass door between the walk-in shower and the sink/toilet). On the first day, one staff told me that there was a 7/11 about 300 meters from the hotel BUT in fact it was about 1-2 kilometers away! Good that I asked the security at parking.

Rooms were of a very high standard. Staff were extremely helpful. Facilities were very impressive. I liked especially the London Inn. Breakfast was sumptuous and delicious.

I loved the pool but did not notice the very large steps leading into the pool because the beautiful colour blends so well... so I almost slipped once and kicked the steps by accident. If they could be made more clear you might avoid future accidents. Otherwise the pool is absolutely beautiful and the inflatables are an original and very good idea

Nice hotel. The room had good AC and a comfortable bed. Powerful shower and housekeeping service was excellent👌

The bikes were free but were not in a good state of repair. Furthermore it is not a nice area around the hotel for walking and cycling despite what the literature details. Mick @ London Inn was most considerate & helpful.
