We stayed at Joylife in Melitsa with no particular expectations, and we really enjoyed our time there. It's a simple and well kept, three-star hotel with everything you need if you're planning to spend most of your days exploring the island, as we did. It is about 15 min walk to Sidari, the closest beach and more populated area, there you can find busses to many other beaches as well. There is also a supermarket right next to the hotel. The owners were truly fantastic—warm, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The service is very basic, but that suited us perfectly. We weren’t looking for luxury or room service. One thing to note: during our stay, there was limited warm water available, which was a bit inconvenient, especially in the mornings. That said, the incredible swimming pool more than made up for it—it’s genuinely one of the best we've ever had the pleasure of using, and became a highlight of our stay. And we can’t forget to mention their little dog Dolly—she’s the sweetest girl ever and made us feel even more at home. Overall, if you're after a relaxed, no-frills place with good people, a great pool, and a very sweet dog, Joylife is a solid choice.

Rooms were spotless , pool area & sunbeds deep cleaned regular, The food and drinks were great and not silly hotel prices, we happily stayed at the hotel in the pool area all day and ate and drank there putting money back into the hotel . Heading to Sidari strip in the evening worked great for us . Didn't get fleeced for air con on arrival like a lot of hotels in Corfu. It was all included in the room rate . Sophia and her family do a great job at making your stay special .

Nothing , enjoyed everything about this little hotel.

We arrived about midnight,Sofia left us a diagram of where to find our room and a free large bottle of water.The pool area is very good with plenty sunbeds and parasols,the pool is great and a separate plunge pool.The property is kept exceptionally clean,rooms are cleaned regularly and fresh towels every other day,we had a fridge,kettle mugs and glasses and a large fan.We had breakfast here twice and couldn't not fault it,as good as any I've had anywhere.We at 3 times during the day,simple menu and very reasonable. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel,Sofia is a very good host who let us stay in our room right up until our coach arrived in the afternoon.

The beautiful Sophia who has a heart of gold. Her husband Costa was a very sweet quiet man. Have to mention DOLLY the most loved and most beautiful dog you will come across. This hotel has some magical baby swallows that are so beautiful to watch at the end of the day nose diving around the pool. This hotel is quiet with background music which cheered me up. Best chicken nuggets and chips me and my son Romeo have ever tasted. Sophia and costa have worked here for 22 years. The rooms pool area and bar were very clean and tidy, I was very impressed especially the pool area. I'm not a pool man but it looked amazing. My room was great and had a pool view which made it extra special. Sophia was great friendly and helpful.

The air con unit was very loud and probably could have someone look at it, it shouldn't make that noise. There was a kettle and cups for my coffee/ tea in the morning which was great but weirdly no spoons to stir my drink.

The hotel is very much worth the price. Despite some negative comments we initially saw, we were happy with everything: the room was clean, AC was included and functioned very well, the view was nice, the hosts respectful, calm and helpful. The breakfast was tasteful and diverse, definitely worth the extra €5 :) We didn’t have any problems with mosquitoes and the road to the centre and beach is indeed 20 minutes, but it’s a nice walk in the nature, so not a big problem.

Maybe just that they missed to change the towels.

Even if mentioned, A/C is not included and the room can get very hot. Maybe bar's hours could start earlier

The accommodation is easily accessible yet quiet, with a 5 -minute car ride to Sidari. The hotels employees are outgoing, helpful. We got a bigger room than the one we booked, which was a great pleasure for us. Breakfast is optional, you can choose from multiple menus. It was delicious. You get your money's worth here!

The accomodation was fine, the bathroom bit inadequate because of not that good organization, but fine for few days. The host was very nice and helpful, the area was clean and tidy, silent area, and the pool was really great. I recommend the place for a nice cozy staying.

The bathroom was not well organized, the shower curtain was only on one side and bath got all wet when showering.

The hotel was ideal for what we wanted. Nice and quite,very clean rooms and hotel,pool was great,lovely walks into Sidari,food was good and Sophia the owner was very helpful and friendly.We can see why people return year after year.
