The property is lovely and the view is incredibly beautiful. The three kids we had with us LOVED swimming at the private beach.(water shoes are a must) We also had a campfire on the beach. The restaurant served a delicious breakfast as well. We would stay here again.

The rooms could use a good deep clean. They were very affordable, but also out dated and in need of repairs in some instances.

The location is unlike any, we were by a lake front and it’s so beautiful. The staff were incredible and so was the food. Definitely one of my favourite spots and it’s a must on my list to visit again soon.

It was clean, good, central location, easy to find, peaceful with a gorgeous view, restaurant on site, with friendly staff and delicious food.

The building and rooms are starting to show their age.

I am from the area originally and have known this hotel/restaurant all my life. It always meets more than my expectations. I didn't have breakfast there, this time, but the food is always delicious and the view is break-taking (looking over the Ottawa River). The servings are generous and the service is friendly.

We ordered dinner. Take out because the restaurant was closing and that was fine. The poutine was great and the blueberry pie was delicious as always.

The hamburgers were both burnt. Everything else about the burgers could have been great. Nice size, fresh bun, perfect toppings. But the meat was black. And not a nice char broiled black. They tasted burnt. They are supplying the thinnest toilet paper I have ever seen. You can literally see through it. If they think they are saving a buck when buying, they are loosing it in the amount you need to use. Easily triple the normal amount. Awful. Thank goodness I threw in a roll from home and that’s what we used. They need to buy a much better grade of paper products and add 2.00 on to the price of the room. No one will complain.

The location was beautiful. Beautiful river and mountains across from it.

Did not like how they charge you per person in a motel room.

Great place for a highway stopover, beautiful location, walkable to town and area, interesting room configuration.

Bit on the dirty side. Don't look under the bed type of place

The sitting chairs in the room were quite stained….utilizing chair covers that can be washed would be a simple fix….I used the hand towels to cover the seat portion
