The food was limited but good. The facility was very clean and food was monitored and she kept the area well supplied.

Instructions for how to use the satellite television would have been helpful. The night clerk was very good about coming to the room and showing us how to use the system. Gaining entry to the main building was a bit tricky as I had to jump around to get the attention of the motion monitor in order to use the key for entry.

Historic hotel in a small town on the river. The staff were super friendly. Check in was easy, automatic doors nice touch. Thai restaurant on the first floor was delicious and had a nice relaxing atmosphere. Thai and Canadian food was available. The continental breakfast was the best I've seen with fresh and ample offerings. The room was clean and quiet. I highly recommend Le Voyageur!!

Second floor rooms are accessed by stairs, if mobility is an issue or carrying luggage is difficult ask prior to booking what other options there are

It was a great location. The room was clean. Had all expected equipment. Bed was super comfortable. Shower stall was well designed. Such a treat to have a Thai restaurant on-site!

Would have been better if there was a gluten-free breakfast option. Kind makes breakfast bars and even the Dollar store has gluten free bites. Decaf coffee and tea would be appreciated. I am paying the same rate as other customers and expect the same services. Couldn't find ice next morning. Would have been nice to know that no-one is around in the morning even at 9am, I could have asked for ice the night before. Shower feature doesn't open fully, 1/2 water flow divided between lower faucet and shower head in room 212.

The staff was friendly and couteous. The restaurant was veey welcoming and the food was excellent! Overall, our experience was 10 out of 10. The location is closeby to where my son lives and very easy to find from the highway!! Keep up the great job and we will see you again next year!!! We are from Hamilton Ontario!!!

Big surprise - not much outside but room was huge / 2 king beds / giant bathroom with fabulous shower / enjoyed delicious dinner in the restaurant / cashew chicken amazing / would stay again if passing thru : nice job renovating older building

Very friendly Staff, clean rooms, daily room cleaning, visible parking from room. Great location on Main Street accessible to many amenities — beautiful town. In-house Restaurant delicious food, but. $pricey! Would recommend to friends and loved ones. 👍🏻

In-house food priced high and make sure patrons know about breakfast in fridge. We didn’t get any and reservations stated free breakfast included. Otherwise as mentioned above ( very pleasant stay).

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the Voyageur Inn in Mattawa. Our room was the perfect size for a family of 4. Separate room with a comfortable king bed, large dresser, t.v, two bedside tables and large closet. The sitting area has a sofa with pullout mattress, tv, mini fridge (that actually keeps your items cold) and desk. A sheet, blanket and one pillow is provided in the dresser of the sitting area for the pull out. We used the fleece blanket provided and put it directly on the mattress for extra comfort and my children used their own blankets from home to sleep with. I'm sure the Inn would provide extra blankets and pillows upon request but we didn't need them. The bathroom is a good size. It has a shower only with great water pressure and the towels provided are nice and soft. The room was very clean and tidy. Their breakfast has a good variety, something for everyone. The coffee is not very strong but there is a Tims close by, about 3 minutes drive. The cinnamon rolls were excellent! The Inn restaurant serves delicious Thai cuisine and is a must for anyone visiting the area. The pineapple fried rice with shrimp was exceptional and they cater to individual spice level. They also have traditional Canadian food, which my children enjoyed. There is a Foodland located on the street just a minutes walk away. The staff are very friendly and if no one is at the desk, you call and they attend to you right away. I would recommend this Inn to anyone staying in the area but I recommend calling the Inn to book directly because you will save about $25.00 per night. We will definitely stay here again.

The voyager is an excellent small hotel with a great restaurant and superb food. It was clean and neat and at night the window offered an Edward Hopper vignette of downtown Mattawa worthy of a cover on any art magazine. We enjoyed our stay immensely and we’ll be back!

The breakfast was a packed bag left in the fridge - apparently breakfast is only served in the weekend. this was not stated in the description of the hotel.

Great location - right in the Town of Mattawa. The restaurant inside the hotel was very good - some of the best Thai food I have had. The owner was friendly.

The free breakfast was quite minimal - a banana and a bland, small breakfast sandwich. It is ok considering it is free, but not something very substantial
